Awesome Jamie! Those drops looked on the pant-soiling side of fun - fair play to you for hitting them all. Loved the last trail. Looked like Munro riding on steroids. Can’t wait to see the rest of the six days. Nice one!
Cheers Simon. Yeah, some of those drops really put the fear in me. But then you just remember that people ride off them on a daily basis with no questions asked. Bike Park is a definite thing and quite a specific skill set for riding. Wish we had a bit more if it around the UK 👌
The more I see the Swiss Mtb trails the more I want to go, miles of different trail types through the mountains, gondola uplifts - perfect! Thanks for sharing Jamie, great you enjoyed you Mtb holiday,😁🤙
Thanks Gary. I deffo think Switzerland deserves to be on the bucket list. The only down side is the cost as the Swiss Franc is very strong compared to the pound. Basically, expect to pay double compared to UK prices 🙈 Trails are so varied though 👌

@garyalexander3281 That's a good question. I think we managed to get it all done for somewhere between £1600 to £2000. Sorry I don't have an exact figure - I have it all jotted down but haven't tallied it up. We saved money by renting the vans from the French side of the airport in Basel - saved us hundreds. Also, we stayed in something close to a hostel. It was basic but very nice and clean. The other big saver was getting lunch and even sometimes dinner at the Co-Op. Finally, not spending much on booze and purchasing it at the supermarket saved loads. I think without these cost savings we would have been closer to £2500 👍

Welcome to the Alps, i'm surprised you've never ridden there. Kudos to you on the park stuff, well above my skill level - but the rocky trails... there's heaven on earth for me. Switzerland has an embarrassment of riches, and it's all so accessible (at a price!)

Definitely not an average rider from that and your other great footage. I really think spending a couple of days at a bike park can do wonders for progression and hoping to do so myself this weekend closer to home at Dyfi. Great stuff 👏

Hey mate. It's a great place but the downside is Switzerland is really expensive. It was somewhere around £1600 for the week, but that was a real cost saving effort - renting vans in France, staying in a hostel, eating at Co-Op, not really drinking!
