Cheers Rhett. That's good because I have no idea how to ride that trail fast! 😆 Respect to the fast people! But yeah, riding well and feeling good is what it's about for me 😁
I really enjoyed this one Jamie. Makes me wrestless though, sitting here watching while I've been injured for the last 2 weeks 🤕 Aching to get back out on the trails agin, and Golfie was gonna be my first stop. Love the chilled out tunes to go with the chilled out riding. It's actually nice for a change rather than watching trails zip by fast, give the viewer an opportunity to take it in more. As usual, nice editing and production.
Thanks Toby. Yeah, Right Side Clyde is such a good trail. It's changed a lot since it was first dug but it's matured really nicely. It has such a good balance and I love riding it. Give me a shout when you are next down 👌
Jamie, brilliant vid, only been to golfie a year ago, first day on new bike and even though I’ve been mtb’ing for 30 odd years, I sharted on the few trails I did ride! You’ve inspired me to get back down and try it again, gave me a ton of confidence that I too will be able to ride them. Mind over matter!! Coffee coming your way
No better feeling making it out of a trail in one piece that you're apprehensive about Jamie! Have more faith in yourself, you're riding well! PS - can't believe you passed up the Hairibo Tangfasics in to Co-opy... number 1 trail sweet!!!!😅
Every time I see one of your Innerleithen videos, it reminds me how much more there is to explore. Fabulous stuff Jamie - perfect Sunday evening viewing 👍BTW. There is no substitute for Jelly Babies 😜
If you've not been, you simply have to go. It has to be my favourite riding destination, up there with the best. If you're going a long way, an emtb will help you see all of the trails. The claims are big. I'd recommend two days at Golfie, one at Thornilee, and then perhaps another on the original downhill trails at the uplift. The valley has so much to offer.
@MattSB2588 yeah, 2 days on an eeb if you really want to ride everything. I think 3 days on the normal bike as those climbs are solid. Inners is somewhere I need to explore more. Yair and Glentress off-piste are also great. In fact, just book a week here and ride them all!!!
Ah nice! Yeah, I think I actually met him through Ridelines and then became riding buddies. Love the way MTB is so connected. I've met some lovely folks 👌
@@streetpigeonmtb certainly is! I've played a lot of sports over the years and this is by far the most welcoming! Will be booking a steep and natural with Alan too! Even though I'm comfortable there are just a couple of features and tips I need to brush up on 👌
@@streetpigeonmtb I'm getting more drawn to the DJI, the low light footage is insane in your videos , if i purchase one i will need your full settings please 😁
@Bloody_Nora of course buddy. Just DM me on FB/Insta/X. They are really good cameras. I was using a lower minimum shutter on this one which hampers the stabilisation a bit. However at least you guarantee a pretty clear lowlight image 👌
Super vid mate. Love that you casually warmed up on Right side Clyde and community service, both proper hard (but tremendous fun) trails 🤣 Now I saw a YT edit that made Underdog look well easy, probably the same man you mentioned, will be treating with way more respect when I finally get chance to visit. Appreciate you man!👍
Cheers Jon! Yeah, the Golfie tends to send you straight into it eh? I think NYNY can be pretty tricky for a first trail. Deffo give Underdog a go. Tricky but super rewarding 🙌
Super vid Mate. Haven’t commented for a long time although still do watch all the vids. I’m up here now until Saturday. Running very well today. Keep up the great work. 👍
@@streetpigeonmtb Stopping at the Pods at Glentress. Yesterday after arriving had a day riding Glentress stuff. This morning New York, New York. Back up then for Wardell Way. Back up for Community Service and Final Fling before then heading over to Inners for a couple of goes on Angry Sheep and Green Wing. That was enough for today then. Legs were cooked. Was up last year too and did others on The Golfie. May head back up there tomorrow although forecast doesn’t look great at the moment…
The bird aeris 9 is my dream bike! It just looks so clean and has great parts with the perfect amount of travel for me but they are too expensive for me. Nice vid btw i live around 1 & 1/2 hours away from these trails!
I’m from Newcastle and have been up Inners and Glentress quite a few times now and still haven’t ridden the Golfie stuff. Looking at this I really need to! Only just discovered the Glentress off piste stuff last summer and was in my element! Will definitely be up that way at least once this summer.
@@streetpigeonmtb that’s a very good point! I was focused on taste and not on the efficiency of a trail side snack. So I’m swinging to jelly babies for that reason. 😅
Hi Jaime, awesome riding here, i love your content. By the way, have u tried Wolverine? I rode half of it but the wood section got a bit over my head it was so gnarly, id have to go back and figure it out next time.
That was scary Even if the camera wasn't showing how steep it is I'd never do that I might have seen scarier, Eathie Hill on Black Isle? The one with the bothy at the bottom I'd never do that either I can just about get my touring bike down the zig zag track. Trouble is the trail just goes straight down cutting through all the zigs and zags, whereupon you'd emerge on a near vertical descent right on top of anyone on the track with no warning - it's maybe only used by arrangement with the track closed? Or at 2am and cross your fingers Anyway, check it out if you're in the vicinity, but for the love of God please don't even think about riding it
Top riding Jamie. Its not always about riding fast.
Great video.
Cheers Rhett. That's good because I have no idea how to ride that trail fast! 😆 Respect to the fast people! But yeah, riding well and feeling good is what it's about for me 😁
We’re so lucky to be so close to these trails. Scotland has the best Enduro network.
The Alps might argue with you 🤪 Jokes aside I love this place. Like you say, so many trails and proper 'enduro' routes. We are so lucky 👌
@@streetpigeonmtb- and it’s free…..
@DrFaroon sure is 👌
Definitely, I went to the South of England last week, lovely but it was so flat.
Yea
I’m close to moray monster trail close to Ellen I think
Great video. 2nd Base and Hangover, near Underdog, are also brilliant.
For sure. I broke my ribs last time I ventured to Second Base. Maybe time to face my fears 🤔
Perfectly timed video for my Sunday night end of weekend beer! Another great one. 👍
Cheers man. Tried a slightly more 'vloggy' approach. Hope it went down well 👌
Ooft, fair play, mate! Those trails are steeeeep! 🙈🙈💪💪
Yup! Underdog is right on my mental limit. Pretty full on but so rewarding to make it down!
Such a Brilliant trail ! Cant wait to get back up there !
Yeah. It always delivers 🙌

@@streetpigeonmtb crashed in to tree, pretty hard hit to my hip, 2 weeks since, probably another week or so before I'm good to go.
