      Anxiety arises from the same root cause: your nervous system sensitization.
      It's good you no longer have DPDR symptoms. But your nervous system may still be sensitized. Give it time. Keep doing what you were doing. Keep accepting and going on with your life. Your NS will slowly get back to its normal sensitization.

    Hello brother I just wanted to ask a quick question cuz you have studied depersonalization deeply and I’m expecting a very honest n practical response.Actually i hv had depersonalization fron the past 4 months and most of my symptoms have vanished already but the only one to persist is the disconnection and detachment from myself like my sense of self is very distorted but I’m not connected with myself at all.Plz let me know that will this dissociation and detachment also get 100% recovered or is it highly manageable but not fully curable(means I wont b the same person as before) cuz right now my mind cant imagine going to a normal state just like before

    • @shivangijha3992
      @shivangijha3992 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Please have patience and don't push yourself too hard to feel like before as this wastes your energy and give you extra distress.....just calm down and sit there....say it's okay that i can't feel like before right now ....and don't stop doing things you liked before .... you'll feel yourself in some moment ....and after getting a good feeling you might start feeling shitty again but that doesn't mean you have to give up ..... I'm suffering this everyday and i gather courage everyday to live another day ....i try to enjoy the moments when I'm not anxious in a day......i dance everyday and it doesn't feel same as before...but still feels a Lil good ....i know I'll get through these ....i cry everyday a Lil bit .....i go on long walks ...i look at the world...o look at people ....i observe the nature....and tell myself that I'm a part of this ... I'm nothing different... everything i see is real .....you can do one thing...you can start journaling...where you can right how you feel ...and you can write self motivation notes to yourself...you can write your commitments that you'll never let yourself win.... you'll protect yourself from your thoughts no matter how terrible they get..
      And practice gratitude everyday
      Write down things you're grateful for...thankyou...I hope that helps

      If you do the right things (eat healthy, go on walks in nature, meditate etc) it will get better and eventually completely vanish. Just remember that 1. it takes time and a lot of strength and 2. most importantly, domt fall back into old behaviors. Try to work on yourself, practice minfulness. And also what really helps me is reminding that RP/DP is a defense mechanism of the body. Its trying to protect you not harm you. So let it do its thing and accept the moment for what it is.
      Greetings and hopr you get better soon m8

    • @RealSwamyG
      @RealSwamyG  ปีที่แล้ว +12

      The symptoms can seem to increase when you finally let go and accept. But that's how you recover. There's an initial bump and then as you keep facing them and accepting them, they will gradually come down.
      But if on the other hand, you are afraid of the temporary increase in the intensity, then you'll stay in the same place with very little progress.
