Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites to watch! I love hearing you talk about different films you don't normally hear about on most "physical media/movie review" channels. It makes me want to seek out and check a lot of these out and expand my horizon in film viewing. Thanks!
Love the Videodrome packaging so much even though I didn't love the movie. I don't hate the movie but hard to pay the asking price for the packaging more than the movie.
Such a fun updated haul! I haven’t seen Little Darlings - I’d love to be entered to check out. I love your approach to recommendations. I’m still thinking about how charming the A Quiet Man was.
Videodrome is great film, I think you’ll like it. That is if you don’t mind a little body horror. Besides, who doesn’t love Deborah Harry! First give-a-way? Put me in!!
Been collecting Vinegar Syndrome releases for a while but been meaning to take a journey into the Cinematographe, Little Darlings seems like the best film to start with!
I love these videos. I love the artwork on almost all of these. Nice pickups/mix of genres as usual. If the giveaway is still happening, please enter me!
as always a very cool insight into your newest additions! My favourite is the Louis Malle box. You will have a great (but also sad) time with Au revoir, les enfants 😊
Liked and subscribed, I will be waiting a shipment to Finland 😂 jk I’ll subscribe to you anyway, you have good videos! Have to say ordering from Vinegar to Finland is amazingly fast and cost efficient, other companies should take note. Last time the package was here 3 days after shipping and all the taxes handled for me! Cargo costs are approx. 19$
Au revoir les enfants was a very personal film for Louis Malle based on events he witnessed as a young boy during WWII attending a Catholic boarding school in France. How extraordinary to make the film more than 40 years later. Enjoy.
I watched Little Darlings after you first recommended it (I was lucky to find it on VOD) and enjoyed it! I was particularly impressed with Kristy McNichol's performance. The packaging for that 4k-BluRay release is absolutely gorgeous too.
I've hoped for a "Little Darlings" release for so long, had to back burner the purchase awhile for various reasons. I enjoy your channel so much, your positive "sunny" vibe lifts my mood when I watch ya. I also really like the concept of sorting/shelving by spine color, very different and appealing. Gotta swoon a bit, too, you're a cutie & that "Camp" shirt looks amazing on you. :) {Prague Nights is one of my very fave Dead Croc releases, too! I have all of the titles VinSyn released and aspire to getting all the rest, soon.}
Excited to participate in your first giveaway! Little Darlings looks like a blast and I just popped in my first Cinematographe on this weekend and the care put into the release is just so great.
It would be hilarious and poetic if this is the comment that gave me Conner’s gifted copy of Little Darlings. What a terrific, little film. I am curious if Marcel the Shell with Shoes On would work for someone like me who hasn’t watched the old TH-cam videos? I’m sure it would, but it is funny how I never heard of it while I was in school.
Wow, a lot of great films. I don't know anything about the films that Jeffery sent you, but both DC films and INNER SANCTUM sound intriguing. I haven't watched SUZIE WONG, very surprisingly for me. I know it plays regularly on TCM, so I'll have to make an effort to catch it. I loved all three Malle films. AU REVOIR LES ENFANTS is one of Malle's best films about WWII and MURMUR OF THE HEART is an excellent controversial Malle film; LACOMBE, LUCIEN is not as loveable as LES ENFANTS but deals with a dark theme of the French collaboration theme. I loved VIDEODROME, a bit on the wild ride side, but that is expected from Cronenberg. I'm also interested in seeing LITTLE DARLINGS again, haven't seen it since it first came out, so put me in the giveaway. Good films to be watching on the horizon, DJ.
And as a bit of context, I got the Malle set in a pretty sweet deal. Was selling things and ended up paying $20 for it when the og price from Criterion was just about $80. Louis Malle looks like a fascinating movie maker. There's a film of his called "Atlantic City" I'd like to see given I'm from New Jersey.
Great giveaway of a gem of an 80s coming of age flick. Was close to grabbing a copy earlier in the year but I think I prioritised something else so would love the opportunity to win it. Thanks.
The store where I got most of the items for D.J is called The Archive in Bridgeport, Connecticut & is fantastic. The store where I got the Malle set is called Station 1 Books Vinyl & Vintage in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey.

The Malle set is easily one of Criterion's best releases. Au revoir les enfants is practically perfect.
Always fun watching your updates. That Little Darlings box looks amazing.
Nice haul and giveaway! I enjoyed "The World of Suzie Wong" Nancy Kwan is a gem of a Actress!
Thanks for the great videos, love the unboxings too!
Great video and an absolutely beautiful release from Cinematographe! Would love to add it to my collection!
Love the Videodrome packaging so much even though I didn't love the movie. I don't hate the movie but hard to pay the asking price for the packaging more than the movie.
Great job. Love your videos. 👍
Perfect October-timing for the arrival of Videodrome
Just recently started my own movie collection and I'm loving your content!

"Paper Moon" impressed me so much because of Tatum O'Neal's great acting. I watched "Little Darlings" & fell in love with it.
The Inner Sanctum films are a lot of fun.

Hi DJ. Looks like a great haul of OOP movies, and I love the Marcel figure. You definitely won’t run out of options anytime soon.

Never seen the movie before but I heard good things about it!
it would be nice to watch it for the first time with that 4k release.

I saw Little Darlings way too young. I can’t wait to rewatch it!
Great additions to the collection! Curious to hear more about that documentary!
