I think the issue with free will is that it's not off for the infants. Like toddlers, infants seem to be able to "ask" for adults to do something and that's why Semaj keeps bouncing back and forth between infants.
Bottles and diapers on the floor reminds me of the Sims 2 days. And 7 infants challenge is definitely harder than toddlers, if only because you can't just put a plate of food in front of them and have them feed themselves, which is the real saving grace with toddlers.
Yep, I love that with toddlers. If they wake up hungry super early in the morning I’ll just open the fridge and set a plate of food out, then teleport them to the kitchen so they can pick up the food and feed themselves.

Nice to get those gold nuggets of seeing/playing from the infants pov...that alone will keep some of us from bangin our head against the desk from stubborn Sims!
The moment you stopped and was pretending to cry is exactly how I would feel at that very moment. Taking care of those infants would've made me break down and cry too.
That's exactly it yes. It's what happens with the high chairs too with toddlers. Your toddler/infant asking for something is a higher priority than the command you give to the sim. So in the past we'd pop the toddler in the high chair and the toddler would request that the sim takes them out, so sim promptly ignores you and does what the toddler wants xD Seems like it works the same for infants.
I don't think I've ever had to try so hard not to laugh out loud while sneaking a watch in my cubicle before. This was fantastic and I so cannot wait for the update to drop so I can....not do this challenge.
Would love an infant series with a vampire, broomhilda, Kyle, a nanny and a butler. (Which one is the better carereer.?) Wonder how many nannies you could hire at once too?
I had an extremely bizarre glitch where my nannys just… never left. Also a new nanny would be hired every day. I was on a 64x64 lot so I didn’t even notice how many were there until there was a fire and 10 nannys ran out the front while ‘routing to safety’ 🤦♀️. Had to dismiss them all individually but then I travelled and, when I came back to the lot, all the nannys spawned back in again 😂😭 I had to abandon the save.

I want to see all these kids as young adults, to see if science babies are clones or not.
Yessss my thoughts exactly 🤔
Nice to get those gold nuggets of seeing/playing from the infants pov...that alone will keep some of us from bangin our head against the desk from stubborn Sims!
The moment you stopped and was pretending to cry is exactly how I would feel at that very moment. Taking care of those infants would've made me break down and cry too.
The way James threw the dirty diaper onto the baby on the floor at 14:06 made me laugh way harder than it should’ve
Baby crying because it's tired? Yep this feels like real life to me 🤣
lmao I love that Kyle's title/role above his name is just also "Kyle" -- 23:18
I think the autonomy issue is that the infants don't have it turned off so they are constantly requesting adult sims to do things for them.
Had to dismiss them all individually but then I travelled and, when I came back to the lot, all the nannys spawned back in again 😂😭
I had to abandon the save.
@@shrubertIt’s 2am and I laughed so hard at this that I nearly cried and fell off my bed. Rip to ur save tho
Omg this made me laugh out loud when you yelled at Kyle and when the Nannys didnt want to come back 😂😂
By the end with the amount of sims.. it’s like a daycare centre In Semaj’s house😂 this was CHAOS
You're one of my favorite channels, for your excitement, and kindness towards all genders. Also your "let's goo!" hits home to me more than is common. I'm so happy I get to take a part of your channel and journey! Thanks, James. ^^
I'm a first time mom and I swear this was me the first couple of months with just one infant lol
There is a reason in the state federal law says one person can only look after 4 infants at time in a daycare setting
Baby Cries ...
James : I know how to solve that ... age up 😂😂
I need more of this. The chaos was chefs kiss 😂😂😂😂
13 minutes in and James hires a nanny 😂😂 I'm dead💀
👏👏👏 Great job! I love the new little tub for infants in the bath and that it's easier to control from the infant. Just need 2 Nanny's and a freeloader !😂 Never thought James would be so happy to get 7 toddlers!
For realism sake we should have been allowed to pick 3 of these traits for maximum chaos and immersion. My first was definitely sensitive, intense and wiggly 😂 while my second was sensitive, calm, sunny.
😂😂😂😂 reacting to babies crying regardless of autonomy being off, sooo realistic 😂😂 even now, my kids are big and anytime I hear someone’s baby crying I instinctively want to help it 😂
James talking to Semaj is EXACTLY the same as me talking to my toddler. “Why are you just standing there doing nothing! We don’t have time for this!” 🤣🤣🤣
10 mins in and James is ready to lose it 😂😂😂 this was so fun to watch
Kyle is a real pal to come at your time of need! The update to make it so Sims automatically attend to crying babies definitely needs some fine tuning...
Hilarious watching you do this in a game while I had this many babies in real life. Best time of my life, and I'm still catching up on sleep 9 years later lmao.
The easiest way to keep Semaj's fun up would be to pick a music genre he likes and have it constantly playing on a radio in the nursery, that way his fun is always full!
😂 😂 This pack is so far meeting life-like expectations. James @ 17:10 was me one month after having a baby and taking care of a 2 yr old.
James’ “you need to take care of yourself too!” was all I needed today. It’s been a rough week (my favourite pet passed away) and I’m so sad and broken I’ve completely forgotten myself so today I’ll take a quick shower thanks to this outburst 😂
Was reloading the home page as soon as it was 1:00. You're the first I've watched for this new update/new pack. Today will be a fun content day
With this challenge without cheat mods either a baby will get taken away or the adult sim will die of starvation or exhaustion 🤣
As a mom IRL I’ve been really looking forward to watching people play with this update, especially after hearing how hard everyone thinks toddlers are. I’ve got my popcorn! Love your videos. They are so fun.
