    Try a little lubing on those pellets, those flyers might be due to lead build-up in the barrel.
    Clean the barrel with a pull-through.

    Mine is on back-order and will be a 177. I have had FX's as well a Marauder, and there is no comparison, you get what you pay for. The 25 gets a bit long my taste and shooting needs.
    The M-rod was a total pile and went back to Pyramyd within a week. They promptly replaced it with an Air Arms 510 which is great. M-rod might be good if you're on a budget or like to tinker, I'm not.

      Been trying to explain that to a guy. Appreciate the back up. No comparison between a benjamin and a fx. Come on people. Lol

    Greetings from Australia. I haven't found any info on if running the pellets through a sizing die has much effect on the fx smooth twist barrel. I saw that Russian bear got impressive results from sizing pellets for his 22 bench rest airgun, but that was a conventional barrel. So I have ordered an adjustable reamer and will make a plate of various diameter holes and see what effect it has at 50 yards with my 25 streamline. If it shows promise I will let you know.....

    by you making those adjustments, did it affect your shot count? wish it could push those 33 grain around 850-890 fps

    • @TexasAirGunner
      @TexasAirGunner  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gerald Williams it will affect shot count on high. but when i tune the 34grs up my med power will be high for the 25grs and ill have a low power for lots of close shots.

    They are not bad groups by no means,, but have tried a variety of pellets,,, I've seen good guns shoot the jsb bad but shoot a lower grade pellet hole in hole

    Another very good video on the FX Streamline. I am interested in getting one myself probably in .177 since most of my airgun shooting is on rats and feral pigeons inside barns. However I still like to be able to take 50/55 yard shots on rabbits using heavy JSB Exact Monster pellets. My plan is to use low and possibly medium power for the barn shooting and the high power for outdoor long range. I was very interested to hear that you were able to adjust the hammer spring tension (I read online that a hairdryer might be able to give enough heat to slacken off the Locktight). I think that FX may be setting their maximum powers too low for the Streamline to shoot the heavier pellets properly. You felt the need to turn up the power on your .25 and at 18 ft.lbs a .177 would only give 778 ft/sec for the JSB monsters (I would like around 840 ft/sec which would need a power of 21ft.lbs). I suspect that FX are keeping the maximum power low to improve the shot count. I have not seen any information yet on the percentage of maximum power for the medium and low settings. I suspect it is around 75% for medium and 50% for low. What are you maximum/medium/low power values for your .25?
    A video on how to adjust the power would be vey useful.

      A 22 would better suit your needs. More pellets availabe. Ability to have more power when u need it. Can take farther shots with 22. All of them on low shoot around 12ft lbs. I have full chrony video on all power settings with both the 25 and 34gr jsb. Also a full 50 shot chrony video. Please subscribe and watch

      A 22 would definitely be better for long range but my priority is the indoor rat/pigeon shooting. At 12 ft lbs a .177 will be doing 800fps and a .22 doing 600fps so the .177 shoots much flatter and it is easier to be on target out to 30 yards. Also with .177 I might be able to go down to as low as 8 or 9ft.lbs on low power which is useful for very close range shots and for avoiding damage to fragile roofs. I am already a subscriber to your channel and I will check out those other of your videos from your channel that you mentioned. Thanks.

      Paul Cormack also the 25 on low shoots super slow and would kill any small rodent and barely dent thin metal roofs. the speed is what will do damage to other objects not the caliber. a 22 has the most options and ease of perfecting. a 177 will limit u to only what u are planning to do with it. a 22 will allow you to do what u are wanting plus alot more. they guns both weigh same and size so no difference there. i think u would be upset for not getting the 22. dont limit yourself to what u might only do. the 22 will do that plus. think some more before u buy a 177

    You MRod guys are forgetting one thing the power adjuster and the regulator I own two
    Mrods and now I know what it takes to adjust them cuz I've done it, you add that stuff
    to your gun have someone install it and your gonna have just as much money into it
    and it still won't be as nice as the FX. I ordered my Streamline .25 on Monday can't
    Wait to get it. Don't get me wrong the MRod is a nice entry level PCP but don't
    compare it to the Streamline their not the same.

    that's not really a bad group The Gun seems to shoot pretty good but I've got a 22 caliber Benjamin Marauder and a 25 caliber Benjamin Marauder that can do the same thing if not even a little better for half the price

    • @TexasAirGunner
      @TexasAirGunner  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don Wilson does it weigh 6lbs and get 40+ shots on high consistent. over 100 on low. i could of put 40 in same group without refilling

    bad groups for a FX, feeling that the rest is letting down the amazing equipment.

    • @TexasAirGunner

      And u are a professional shooter with countless years of experience? Correct?

    • @coolnikish
      @coolnikish 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      then i wouldn't be here, jokes aside why do u feel one needs countless years of experience to figure it out that the groups could have been tighter, i meant no offense to your skill though.

    • @TexasAirGunner
      @TexasAirGunner  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      coolnikish please be more specific next time. 1st comment says basically i make fx look bad. fx only says 5 shot 1/2" groups at 40yrds. i did 20 at 25yrds in half inch. without picking through the pellets and with a home made single shot device. its frustrating to get told basically i suck for giving the truth...

    • @coolnikish
      @coolnikish 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      what i meant was maybe the rest/sand bag is letting down and not you, kind of its flowing/shifting beneath just a tiny bit. I feel FX is a amazing piece of kit that one can expect a single hole at close range.

    dude I've got news for you this gun is really comparable to an fx air rifle you can get it for half the price I have the new synthetic stock that doesn't weigh 9 pounds with an adjustable stock so that you can get into the scope good your gun does not have that all I'm saying is the Benjamin Marauder air gun is the number one selling gun in the world for the price you can't beat it you can get replacement rotary clips for half the price of yours maybe you should have did a little research before you just bought a gun and you would know this

    • @TexasAirGunner
      @TexasAirGunner  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could have bought any gun. I would have bought a hatsan before a marauder. This isnt my first pcp. Its my 6th one. Post a video of this amazing rifle and ill show u better groups from farther distances

    • @TexasAirGunner
      @TexasAirGunner  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also its number one seller due to marketing and people knowing about benjamin. Also that its cheap. It wont be for long as more companies come out with better guns. Just like maurader did with there new regulated version. But even its 800...

      Hi Don , can you request Benjamin/crosman to send some of these world no.1 sellings pcp mauraders to the UK please coz they are like rocking horse shit here , same goes for the armada . Nobody stocks them and oh the armada sells here for $1350 (approx) when you do find one ! Just my opinion , I have both guns in .22 form and the FX is on a different level and so light for hunting :-) Happy Days

  • @donwilson350
    @donwilson350 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    no with my 25 caliber Benjamin Marauder I can get about 20 shots out of it with a 25-point grain JSP palette but I don't need 40 shots that would be like me trying to take 40 rabbits out of the woods and one day that would be a lot of rabbits all I'm saying is for the money I don't mind Aaron the gun up per se 20 shots at 30 yards and 13 good shots at 50 yards and with my 22 caliber Benjamin Marauder I can get 30 shots at the factory settings and I can get all of that for half of the price you paid for your gun and I've got two comes out of the deal I'm not saying that you have a bad gun I'm just saying with a Benjamin Marauder air rifle you could buy two of them have money in your pocket left over for what you give for yours

    • @TexasAirGunner
      @TexasAirGunner  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      U still have no valid argument over this maurader. They are not in same ballpark. And why is just 20 rabbits ok. Lol. Ur gun is no where near worth comparing this fx too. Untill i get a 20 shot 1/2 group at 25yrds from ur maurader, either one. Then stop trying to compare. And i dont want to carry around a 9lb gun without a scope.

    Sorry. Not impressed with that accuracy at 25yds.

    • @TexasAirGunner
      @TexasAirGunner  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      James Mathis it's outside. If it was easy to hole in hole any gun at that range with wind is almost impossible. benchrest comp is at that range and is very hard to hit bullseye in all 25 shots. I can shoot a few in one hole but the center starts opening up and ur aimpoint shifts cause u have no center left.

    very bad grups

      @TexasAirGunner  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      cacería rifles de aire pcp con amigos comico 25yrds outside on a wobbly table. if i cherry pick my videos i wouldnt be telling the truth. 1st shot was dead bullseye and thats all u need hunting, after that the center disappears and its hard to hold the exact center u started with. specially after 20 shots.
