Hi jady a, How would you deal with behaviour in the shopping market?? ( should I leave my shopping everytime). It seems to work for 5 minutes and then they're misbehaving again, - how would i give concequences when they have time out| we talk about the expectations and our actions for next time and it is a reoccurring thing.?
I don’t think that is any issue, if they want to learn more of their emotions or make a game about it then it makes it the corner even better when their in trouble. Not to punish the child but to teach the child.
I noticed Jady doesn't answer questions So I'll ask anyone who sees this comment. How do we keep a child (just turned 2 yrs) from breaking all those things? Ripping the pages and writing on the walls?
I find that when my son is getting into things it’s usually because he needs to let out energy. Kids also love sensory play. My son is 3 and loves to play with ice, beans, water , jumping off things and also enjoys scribbling. Look up sensory seeking / sensory activities. There’s a lot you can make with household things though if you’re going to use small things like beans be sure to only do that when you are watching. Also, give the child choice. What shoes do you want today, etc. I let my son pick his clothes but if it’s a church day I ask him to choose from choices I give him. Reading fun books is another fun activity too. If you have a trampoline park close to you they often offer a monthly pass for like $20 or less and you can go any day! Oh and one thing I learned the hard way. Make sure to collect all drawing things like markers and crayons etc out of reach. When they want to color I bring out the pencil Box with crayons and that’s what they can use. I have things my 6 year old uses like scissors and glue. Oh and cutting is another thing my son loves to do. He loves cutting paper and though it’s messy probably something super cheap to do together.
Best way to positively work on behavioral issues, thankyou for sharing

Great ideas, thanks! What do you do if your kids want to just play in the corner when they aren’t feeling bad?

From what age should we start using this?
Thanks 😊

How can implement this corner for teenagers??
Hi jady a. I also wanted to ask at what age should we start this? Hope and pray you respond. :)
