This is a completely false statement. A 28mm lens cannot do the same thing a 43mm lens can do. If you crop the 28mm to “43mm” field of view, the image will still look different compared to if you took the picture with a 43mm lens.
The most significant difference would be the distance from the subject the photographer is. That is what is causing “compression” so if you’re at the same distance, the compression would be the same. The depth of field would be different though. For that, you will need a much faster 28mm. What he means is, you have the possibility to crop in the 28mm to get the same perspective but you can’t expand the 43.

I will stop watching the content of folks as soon as it's clear they've never put their hands-on before. Charlatans is the name for tgese type of people. You play innocent but you dropping the name Leica and a new camera to get views and then you speak about focal length. As a photographer you also should know that Leica's 28 is not a 28 (more like a 26) and the 43 I don't know yet because I didn't use it yet. So you're focal length excuse is of course (like the video) flawed. You guys are so desperately trying to get views no matter at what cost. If the video was about focal length you'd compare a real 28 vs a 43 in a camer you own and know with samples and pros and cons and call it "28 vs 43 focal length opinion" of course the truth and no clickbait brings you no viewers on TH-cam 🤣 so just be honest with what you're atempting to do here... you're giving your opinion about two Leica cameras of at least one of them you never touched before so you cannot know! Maybe it is a 40 or a 45, maybe not.
So you assume all that? I did say I will review the camera after extensive testing. Unless you prefer the “life changing camera!!! Go get it” approach. With regard to the title, it says that the 28 is better than the 43 in some cases. It is after all the same camera with a different focal length. I will also stop responding to your comment before you understand the context of the video, you charlatan
Your argumentative skills fail you my friend. Repeating what I say back to me doesn't really do what you think it does. And the one that seems not to understand (or maybe purposely ignore) the good observations I did in my previous comment is you. Don't need to reply cause you lost already at the video part 😅

What??? 🤣🤣🤣
I bet you’ve never have been taken a picture 😂
Nope.. never.. I buy cameras and stroke them to fall asleep while I cry…
typical youtuber trying to ride the q3 wave you've not even used the q3 43 in anger so how can you say the 28mm is better. downvote. unsubbed.
Because it’s the same camera with only the focal length that has changed. 40mm or 43mm is not new
They can’t afford 43 😂
@@robbiesumantribetter lens APO
Assumptions, assumptions..
Same camera, different lens. And the hype would not be this huge if they only released an apo 43
never interested in 28mm , i love the new 43mm
28mm can be too wide.. Congrats on the new camera
Meh...nikon z is way better
Ok
