    Great advice. I have a practice tip that really helped me plus it looks good at traffic lights etc. I put my pedals at 12-6(doesn't matter which way), I put my feet on the ground and I put one foot under the lower pedal and rest the higher one against my other leg. I grip the bike with my legs and use my foot to raise the pedal and front of the bike and spin. I barely lift the front wheel so it can look like my wheel is on the floor. If you practice the spinning and catching part separately and break it down it really does help when you come to riding along and doing it.

    If you can land and catch the bars every time, you can clearly do the trick easily. So focus on putting pressure on the pedal on the side that comes off.

    Isn't that a switch bar? I ride left foot forwards and I throw with my right hand? Or is that switch?

    • @Rapture413
      @Rapture413  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yours would be considered switch.

    Can anyone explain what I may be doing wrong?, I have the height and the motion however when I send the bar, I will catch it will one hand but I will instantly fall of to the side. if it helps, I send my bars the same as the guy in the video but I am right foot forward

    • @isnowyazn
      @isnowyazn 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's most likely because you throw your barspins goofy. Those tend to throw your bike off axis.

    • @zZFatalGamerZz
      @zZFatalGamerZz 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      isnowyazn I've found out my mistake. I know throw them clockwise, just need to commit to keeping my front foot on the pedal. I can land them on an indoor back, I just can't get it fully on my actual bike yet haha

    I can only hop about 6-8 inches you think i have enough time to throw them? I mean i have enough time to 180

    • @Rapture413
      @Rapture413  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, if you start throwing them then eventually you'll start getting higher and higher. But unless you can throw the bars lightening quick, they probably wont be that clean.

      +Smith Archer don't use s&m perfect 10 bars too

    • @TundraBoy
      @TundraBoy 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Smith Archer try and make your body a 90 degree angle up from your pedals to then bent over looking down on your bars and itll make your legs straighten back and keep you balanced when I do mine my upper body is basically parallel with my frame and head directly over the bars

      kevin Lawrinczuk Okay this was posted over a year ago so im assuming u can do them now. But just incase; i use to do that. I use to hop and throw my foot off when i did it. So what i did was hop half bar. If ur still scared about half bars, go to ur yard, layout a nice big piece of plywood and do it there. It will hurt less if you fall. Btw, falling off the back of the bike doesn't hurt as bad as it seems. Neither does falling to the side. So just do some half bars until u get consistent at them. Then go to the plywood (or very short grass with a hardish ground underneath so you dont dead hop) and throw the bars. Do a couple with one foot and thena couple half bars and then lean over ur bars just a little with ur upper body. And with u like mid and lower body lean back just a little. Then throw it. One extra little tip; If its still to scary, try doing ine footed bars but try to keep ur foot on just a little longer. If you feel the adrenaline start to kick in, do it again and again with ur foot on longer each time and you'll end up doing a barspin. Keep in mind, doing them in grass/on plywood in the grass, is much easier than learning them on cement.

      Haha yeah man I got bars now I'm working on hop 180 bars now I landed a few of em before I just ordered a free coaster so it should be a lot easier the pedaling back was my biggest issue Buddy CottonMouth
