Embolization uses angiographic techniques to place a catheter into the uterine arteries so that particles the size of grains of sand can be injected through catheter and into the blood supply of the fibroids.
Indication
1.  Single/multiple Uterine Fibroids.
2.  Adenomyosis.
3.  Failed myomectomy / recurrence of fibroids after myomectomy
4.  High risk patient for surgery like obesity, anemia, chronic renal failure etc.
5.  Post-partum Hemorrhage
6.  Bleeding from Cancer of Cervix & Uterus
7.  Pre-operative embolization to reduce bleeding during uterine surgery.
