Oh my goodness, this was so awesome. I'm a retired military disable veteran in the process of retiring again from the VA and I'm relocating to Charleston. I will email you my info for White paper and other information. Thank you!
In downtown Charleston there are for sure spots to be concerned of flooding but the new areas outside the city, built after the 1970's are built to drain. Yours is a common concern from people moving here
@@CharlestonHome Firstly, happy Father's Day. Secondly, I hope you took no offense to my comment. I love the low country but those storms in 15, 17, 18 and even last year instill fear in me. I've seen your videos in the past and respect your expertise. If you had to give me 4 or 5 communities that do not flood and are at some elevation I would be interested in understanding what the possibilities are. I am retiring on Wednesday so I have been looking for a warmer, quieter area to move to. Any materials you have would be appreciated. Johnanthonycolt@gmail.com. Have a great day and God bless you. John
You are right -- lots of folks from all over, not just the north. I am born in raised in the South and feel like the folks that move here do so to enjoy our laid back lifestyle. Sorry you think they have ruined it. I welcome them.
That whole Yankee - rebel thing has been dead for a hundred years... Most of those so-called Southerners are full of European blood and their family wasn't even there 300 years ago. Quite honestly the influx of people moving to that area is the only thing that saved that state economically.

Yeah it sucks to have all those Yankees moving there because now you have to account for people with a full set of teeth.
