    Well, this was okay, but what I'm really interested in, is what are your plans for fixing this? I understand the steps to prevent it, but for some, it may be too late, as it is for this RV.

    I'd be interested in learning about substitutes for that crap rubber sealant that pushes out continuously. Is there anything out there that's more stable? Because this I'll be pulling a bunch of stuff off as I prep for this camping season, just to redo the seals.

      You can use Geocel or an RV grade silicone that have a better adhesive quality. Just make sure to clean everything really good and tighten up anything loose, before you reseal it.
