Awesome video! I grew up hangin with my dad, grandad, and family at that original little bar. The back bar has come a loooong way. A lot of it was financed by recycling the beer cans. He would truck the ice in every morning, and that fire truck used to hold the water for the restrooms. They close the bar between memorial day and labor day weekends, for it gets way tooo hot for anyone, including vehicles, to travel. Very cool you got to experience it! It was only by word of mouth that you'd know about it. Take care and be well
Back in early 70s we had hare and hound race out not far from there and we went to bar with my group of desert bikers spokebinders club was small bar in back . We had to leave before it got dark . Most people I talked to wouldn’t believe that bar was out in middle of desert.
Hi there. Trying to replicate route on OnX. Got your coordinates from your post but Bill Williams is in the middle of the water. Assume that the area surrounding can be traversed. Found next trail at 34.27728, -114.06272 and Hoping you have coordinates where we cross water and if you have route that can be exported to OnX even better😅. Thanks Sherri
I just found this channel and this is the first video of yours I have watched. I've typically watched riding channels. This is unique. I like it. I look forward to more videos. Thank you for sharing.
Did this trail last month in my 97 Ram. That spot you mentioned "Jeepers trail" was fun in a full-size rig (Not recommended for the newb to take a 3/4ton in there). Really enjoyed this Darren. You do a great job with your content, thanks for this. Can't wait to get back out this Easter. Such beautiful country.
Watched your video a month ago and wanted to check this place out. We finally visited it today thank you this place is amazing. Definitely coming back every year to see the new changes.
I remember going to the dessert bar when it was just a shack. Beer and ice had to be brought in daily, no refrigeration or electricity. I also remember the London Bridge being stacks of numbered blocks in a fenced, gated yard before it was reassembled in what was later named Lake Havasu City. Definitely, stay away from the Cholla (Teddy Bear) cactus, they are not fun. I crashed into one while riding my dirt bike and learned the hard way. Good stuff, great video. Thanks again guys.
I recommend you guys spray yourselves with more beer before getting back in your UTE's and driving away. Lol! Love that place. The problem for me is when I'm ready to leave, I am nowhere near ready to drive. Hahaha!
I just found your channel last night. I'm your latest new subscriber.. I have a Jeep that's built for offroading.. I live in Southern Oregon for now but I'm planning on buying some land in the Kingman area and going off grid. I'm looking forward to relocating down there and finding some good trails. Thanks
My wife and I, have friends that live in Havasu, and took us to the Desert Bar one time. Very cool. I had a Tank Top, that said “desert bar” on it, and i actually, wore it out and had to let it go, this summer. I wore it to the Holy end. Lol It was literally falling apart. I love that Tank Top.
Refreshing vid ……Was just down in Havisu early October. Love that desert lifestyle and off-road opportunities. Thanks for the ride and informative commentary 🤙🏼
I remember riding motorcycles out to the desert bar when it was the 3-sided bar in about 1984. The bar would close for the day just before sundown because there were no lights. Haven’t been back since.
I've had a pad in Parker Buckskin valley for years. Watched the whole scene grow over the years. Good times had by all. Remember when the locals burnt down the Sundance bar a couple of times. One season Sundance was only large carnival type tents. Crazy river adventures.
Cool video. Have spent a lot of time in Parker, but haven’t made it out… yet…. At about the 7 minute mark in your video you’re in Bill Williams Reserve and about 8 animals cross the screen. Were they wild horses? I don’t believe there are any donkeys on the Arizona side, but you may have just proved me wrong
I have caught sturgeon before in the hells canyon out my back door on the snake river. My cousin is a fishing guide. His name is Brian with steel dreams guide service out of Clarkston, Wa.
Darren, Just came across your channel and we are planning to make the trip to the desert bar, can you let me know the route you took and did you need to use your extra gas?
Loved this and learned some cool things. Love the father & son dynamics. Not being critical but please don't tell another Camery owner he can drive to Desert Bar. These amateurs' liter the road with their incompetence.
Appreciate the feedback and will consider it for the future. The comment came from a place of love trying to help the local business, but I understand your point of view.

History tells us that... Every Great Nation’s Days Are Numbered. Sir John Bagot Glubb wrote this in the 1950’s. He was an Army General and historian. He studied eleven empires starting with the Assyrians in 859 B.C. and ending with the British in 1950. Sir John determined that each empire followed a remarkably similar pattern from birth to demise. Spanning a period of about 250 years, each went through the following 7 stages before their collapse: 1..The Age of Pioneers. 2. The Age of Conquests. 3. The Age of Commerce. 4. The Age of Affluence. 5. The Age of Intellect. 6. The Age of Decadence. 7. The Age of Decline & Collapse. He also added these traits to the decline. Defensiveness, pessimism, materialism, frivolity, an influx of foreigners, the Welfare State, and a weakening of religion. To what did he attribute this decadence? Too long a period of wealth and power, selfishness, love of money, and the loss of a sense of duty. Again, please remember, this was written in the 1950’s. USA…247 yrs of great power...Hummmmmm.......Looks like we are next…Jesus is returning very soon… Several years back in the late 1940’s, Paul-Henry Spaak the first President of the United Nations General Assembly said “We do not want another committee, we have too many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all people, and to lift us out of the economic morass (confusion) into which we are sinking. Send us such a man and be he God or devil, we will receive him.”-Paul Henri Spaak, the first president of the UN General Assembly, first president of the European Parliament, and onetime secretary general of NATO

Except the speed racer stuff that destroys trails they later close, it looked like a good trip. Find a race track if you want a challenge, sir. Actually, count the number of times you said “actually” in this video.. you will learn.. quit scaring the wildlife.
Those trails have been around since mining and settlers arrived in Arizona. Additionally, we pay an extra fee for an OHV tag that funds keeping those trails in decent condition. Going OFF trail isn't cool and I haven't seen that a whole lot in the years that I've been doing this. As for scaring wildlife, hahahaha. They aren't scared. They accept it as part of their lives. We see wild burros, horses, big game, bears, etc in AZ. Some take off cuz they don't wanna deal with humans. Some, like burros just keep doing what they were doing and ignore you. Before you pass judgement on those that ride WE are the ones that pay to keep those areas in decent shape.
I would love leading you up some really rocky and steep roads I ride my "tinker toy". But I would get really tired waiting for you to catch up. I own two four wheel drives and have owned many and none of them can go the places a sxs can go with ease. If you don't like the video, don't watch it.

That is so cool, father and son ride. I've been there many times and played in bands there, I really enjoyed the ride up.
Been there probably 200 times, over the years, on dirt bikes.
Nothing quite like it.
Peaceful and yet Wacky at the same time.

75 years ago went to Parker with my grandfather, he had a trailer there, the circus used to winter there.

I was at quartzsite last weekend prospecting for gold yes my dog got attacked by a cactus right on the nose he's a tough dog so he's a real trooper
Glad to hear he's ok! Those cactus are no joke.

Arizona and solar panels - the perfect match
Most remote Arizona desert bar? What about Crown King?
I believe the key is " off-grid"
Awesome work man I dig the video. Where exactly did you start your trip from in Havasu? I want to take this trail in a few weeks from Havasu.

For future videos we'll be sure to post the full tracks!
jeepers started the trail.
They have great steak sandwiches!
Nice job! Only been there once but will be going again soon. New to your channel. Have you did the Bunker bar yet?
No bunker bar yet, but it's on the list... Heading to Swansea Ghost Town next.
Now thats cool
Sagoros?
Thx. -
I wish i could see a video with a cybertruck making this trip...
Those teddy bear cactus have gone right through my son’s tennis shoes soles and stabbed him ouch. Dogs seem to find them too.
Great video! Who is flying the drone?
My son Darren

Very warm beer.
Do you have a trail map to follow the route you took?
Yes. Check the description of the video. We have our tracks posted.

Interesting ride but please learn how to pronounce Saguaro. Consider the “g” a “w”.
Interesting, but your pastime is outa my league. And everyone I know. Good for you.
I think Mr. Fiancé has a story or two to tell...

Like the history. But man, you’re missing out going down graded roads. Sxs are made to go off road and get to places a jeep couldn’t.
