Bruh, you obviously havent played the real game, the globin says that every fight that mario and luigi had the globins make them harder and just go through their memory and find the people they fought but just make them harder. And their tests and clones and a challenge. Its not really bowser its a clone of him but stronger created by globins.

Ikr, I was like "Ok, so this shouldn't be that bad..." and then he freakin heals his max HP and then spams the Giant Attack which is now harder cause the screen shakes now
except all his moves are slower now, and his attack is more than halved so nothing he does is actually a threat. also he has 1400 less base hp and less defense to make up for the healing. rly this fight is a pushover and its a shame cuz i was digging the new mechanic until i notice his moves dont deal nearly as much damage as they did in the original.
Fun fact : He doesn’t actually heal 9999 hp lol. Proof : I calculated and after Bowser « healed 9999 hp », Prosafia KOed him with a total of 5762 damage

@@johnfranklin943 actualy he has more base defense in the remake and even if he has less hp by 1200 its made up for the full hp healing he gets wich happens when he is bellow half hp along and along with that he gets furry wich i think is just straight up all stats up but i may be wrong but yeah sone atacks fell slower like the shy guy squad dosent go as crazy anymore but some atacks are buffed like the one where he is set on fire and rains fire wich fells more acurate, and the giant atack wich now the fireballs cant miss you scince they arent random anymore and you have to directley counter them over all this fight is harder in my opinion
Now that this game is available to critique, just wanna put my two cents in. Ignore me if you want. This game is a remake in the purest sense of the word. The primary story Is still here, the combat is still the same, and Bowser... He'll probably still be Bowser. As someone who loved the original, I'm getting this game because I love it. Plus I don't have the original anymore:( So yeah consider me blind or stupid but this is still the second RPG I fell in love with after Sonic Chronicles. Yes seriously. At least this game has aged well. I'd give it a 9/10 from how I see it know. Enough old to make it a nine, but not enough new to put it higher. Which is how a remake should be in my opinion.
It's a remaster... Remake is when a game change a lot of factor that's not only includes in a graphical sense but also in gameplay being in the end a totally different way of play on how was it before. Example: Resident Evil 2 Original vs Remake. Final Fantasy VII (PsOne) vs the new one.
They did rework the pipe power and the window power . These used to be infinite until you fk up making them arguably the strongests powers if you got good . The thing bugging me is the different sizes of the screen but can't do anything about that cuz thats how the 3ds was designed .
Damn I miss the "Lets a Go!, Okey Dokey!" Also the red star looks way cooler than the yellow star. I feel like they should have at least left the cool sound effects and not change all of them.

I mean, the Mario Bros heal the same way with Mushrooms. If Mario's health maximum is (for example) 300, he gets hit and has 285 health. He uses a Super Mushroom which heals for 100(for example, i don't really remember. Been a while since i played), so Mario will heal to that 300, not to 385. Nice calculations, however.
If you use the new badges that let you do more damage it’ll be over much faster. I had the 5x attack damage power ups saved up and the fight ended in a few minutes. I felt bad for cheating without actually cheating so the next day I replayed the fight
that shy guy squad attack was actually supposed to punish people who counter with both hammers at the same time (original) the remake made everything just easier and more expensive
True. Bowsers X attack are more easy to counter which kinda takes the fun out of it. The reason Bowser X was fun in the original because on how difficult it was

For some reason I had nightmares of the old version of this game when I was like 7, but I gave it a second chance and bought the remake and now this game is one of my favourite mario and Luigi games
Lmao I had a dream last night about the Bowser X fight (not a bad one, just unexpected because I hadn't played the original in so long) and this is pretty cool and nostalgic to see
So now besides the normal Gauntlet, we have a Giant one? Nice! Even if they removed the Supernova colouring for the Dark Star, it was cool to see its original Star Sprite shade. It blew my mind when I realized for the first time that it was actually a rogue Star Sprite, and its true colouring is a great foreshadowing to that. Er, "back"-shadowing, I guess. Also, a recolour from the Dark Star Core could've worked as well. But I like the yellow myself. But the Mario Bros. Memories should've totally had the Fire Flower outfits for their rematch. C'mon, that writes itself. Still, the Bowser Gauntlet should've been a thing. Just have it as Bowser remembering his foes but tougher. Speaking of, Mario and Luigi seemed to miss a boss or two... Here's what I think would've been more complete: Giant Gauntlet - Perfect. Give them recolours and the X title, maybe, and that's it. Bowser's Castle X (Secret exit colouring (from the New Super Mario Bros. series) Tower of Yikk X (Boo colouring) Fawful Express X (Dark Fawful colouring) Super Peach's Castle of Fury X (Original Peach's Castle colouring) Bros. @@spongyfan6443 What's unfair is that they didn't make the Magic Door move endless like in the original one. Because I play this game before, plus use that move all the time. It was endless until you make a mistake.
And that laser when it was in its “sleep” state where you could damage it…. Boy oh boy did that simple move do so much freakin damage in the original. If you didn’t time it probably, that damn laser could do like over 130 damage, maybe a bit more. That laser killed me a lot back then in the original 😂. The timing was reeaaal strict back then.
I bought this game recently, I did play the DS version which I still own. The remake is great overall but I miss some features such as having to blow in the mic to spit fire in giant battles (yeah it was awful at times but it was immersive). However, while the first six bosses of the class 7 gauntlet aren't much different from the original, Bowser X can be oneshot in this game, which is what I just did. Also in the original it took me forever to stay calm during the fire rain attack. Edit: Actually, there is one thing I really dislike: Luigi's new voice.
well don’t feel too bad because even when i fought him in the remake i never could beat him before dying unless i used the 6 times damage badge i’m guessing similar to you it was just too tough until equipped the challenge medal which ps is way better in the remake as i can now beat him without using the badge seriously the remake made the fight harder in my opinion unless you use the badge but god it’s nearly impossible without it and the challenge medal

I had the PAL version of this game and around midway (usually at the fireball attack), the sprites all glitched out, making it so much harder to dodge and actually caused me to fail the attempt the first time.
It's not really an attack. Bowser X will just do that the moment he enters the Fury state. He basically enters a second phase and the fight goes back to square one.
I don't like the new animation when only a single star drops in to the enemy. Beforehand it was very silly and funny, but now... it looks like an actual attack :c
Ima be honest here, I kinda feel like the boss explosions are a downgrade. You know what I’m talking about, when you defeat a boss they explode stars. I get it, this is such a minor thing to be complaining about, but basically the boss explosions were satisfying to look at once you defeat that boss you were so eager to beat.
Its kinda annoying because Alpha Keratin X was all red and one green in the ds version which meant you could enter phase 2 in 1 turn but now you gotta try harder
X Bosses make no sense Durmite X and Wisdurm X: The caterpillar became a butterfly and is now a caterpillar again? Alpha Kretin X: I thought they split apart and died. Bowser Memory M and L X: How did a memory get wherever they are? Junker X: The garbage can never got eaten by Bowser. Why would he eat trash? Dark Star X: I thought that thing turned into Bowser. Bowser X: Do I even need to explain? Mario and Luigi are fighting Bowser IN Bowser. What? WHY?!
I remember when I beat the whole game and leveled everything up so much, grinding hours looking for green beans? Correct me if I'm wrong, and seeing that I was able to one shot a few X bosses and I jump for joy
I say if he used the expert and powerful badges he might have one shot Bowser since he’s over leveled. I actually did that I managed to deal over 5000 damage to Bowser and both bros were level 43 and it made me think “if I dealt that much damage with one attack then that technically means I could “one shot him” if my level is high enough tho I’m not so sure about that. I also wonder what type of gear did he use for both bros.
Nintendo needs to make a Luigi game where Mario is a secret final boss, because Luigi deserves to show Mario how he feels about getting abused so much #Luigideservesbetter

The kids nowa days will never know the struggle of the Falling Star attack only being able to have 3 stacks. Nowadays they can have up to what seems like 5 or 6 but at the cost of shit damage.

@@spongyfan6443 What's unfair is that they didn't make the Magic Door move endless like in the original one. Because I play this game before, plus use that move all the time. It was endless until you make a mistake.

remember the original version where the dark star x actually moved slower in his attacks wich still made them more difficult
And that laser when it was in its “sleep” state where you could damage it…. Boy oh boy did that simple move do so much freakin damage in the original. If you didn’t time it probably, that damn laser could do like over 130 damage, maybe a bit more. That laser killed me a lot back then in the original 😂. The timing was reeaaal strict back then.
I bought this game recently, I did play the DS version which I still own. The remake is great overall but I miss some features such as having to blow in the mic to spit fire in giant battles (yeah it was awful at times but it was immersive). However, while the first six bosses of the class 7 gauntlet aren't much different from the original, Bowser X can be oneshot in this game, which is what I just did.
Also in the original it took me forever to stay calm during the fire rain attack.
Edit: Actually, there is one thing I really dislike: Luigi's new voice.

well don’t feel too bad because even when i fought him in the remake i never could beat him before dying unless i used the 6 times damage badge i’m guessing similar to you it was just too tough until equipped the challenge medal which ps is way better in the remake as i can now beat him without using the badge seriously the remake made the fight harder in my opinion unless you use the badge but god it’s nearly impossible without it and the challenge medal

How was he glitched and bugged?
I had the PAL version of this game and around midway (usually at the fireball attack), the sprites all glitched out, making it so much harder to dodge and actually caused me to fail the attempt the first time.
I'm Happy that now i can Beat Bowser X without Cheats because in some Versions the Game glitches Out and the grafics are Just a Mess then!
I played in the Spanish Version in a emulator so needed to cheat to make the game worked well.

It's not really an attack. Bowser X will just do that the moment he enters the Fury state. He basically enters a second phase and the fight goes back to square one.

Ima be honest here, I kinda feel like the boss explosions are a downgrade. You know what I’m talking about, when you defeat a boss they explode stars. I get it, this is such a minor thing to be complaining about, but basically the boss explosions were satisfying to look at once you defeat that boss you were so eager to beat.

I say if he used the expert and powerful badges he might have one shot Bowser since he’s over leveled.
I actually did that I managed to deal over 5000 damage to Bowser and both bros were level 43 and it made me think “if I dealt that much damage with one attack then that technically means I could “one shot him” if my level is high enough tho I’m not so sure about that.
I also wonder what type of gear did he use for both bros.

The kids nowa days will never know the struggle of the Falling Star attack only being able to have 3 stacks. Nowadays they can have up to what seems like 5 or 6 but at the cost of shit damage.
