You know this is the hardest game in the Mario and Luigi series when there are multiple cuts and cheats noticeable. Like in the beginning of torkscrew, multiple times during antasma, and blatantly obvious damage taken during bowser jr.

You gotta put credit where it's due. The fact that he only got hit once by Antasma is an impressive feat. I still can't get past the dreamy bowser fight. :/
That is true. Whenever I fight Antasma, I still get hit a fair bit. And that's regular Antasma, I've never actually beaten his X form.
However, it renders the video itself as a lie, to say that he took no damage when he did indeed take hits. And to try and cover it up in such a slapdash way is an insult, as if we're that stupid as to fall for such a jape. If he'd just shown it as a simple showcase of the bosses, that would be fine, to beat them at all is impressive. But to whack the "no damage" on when he definitely took damage like this is the TH-cam equivalent of false advertising, and to assume that nobody would notice is just embarrassing.
Antasma is a VERY difficult boss, but regular and X Forms
...your point? I've already said I don't deny that it's a hard fight.
1. He cuts randomly, which leads me to believe he was trying to cover up getting hit. 2. During the antasma X fight (specifically at 11:35) he suspiciously zooms in and hides the health bar, and cuts out part of the bat attack. Now you might be thinking “bUt HeCkEr He CuT iT cAuSe It’S tOo LoNg.” Even though luiginary wall takes longer, but he doesn’t cut it. Also if he cut it for length, then why didnt he cut it at 12:45?
EDIT: IMAGINE TAKING DAMAGE TO TORKSCREW. Seriously though at 1:30 you can hear a splice. My man got hit by torkscrew. Frickin torkscrew.
In conclusion: he gets hit, and is lying to make himself look cooler. But kudos to him for doing most of the bosses without getting hit, i know i couldnt.

There are many splices where the music changes. There is also a zoom in. These are probably to hide the fact that you took damage.

EDIT : Dear god guys it's been two, almost 3 years, my views on this have changed. I think I only hated Dream Team for the sake of hating it, so can you please stop responding to this, I actually really like Dream Team now that I have actually played through all of it again recently, and it's much better than Paper Jam. I don't really hate the unskippable tutorials that much, as it was many peoples first entry. I'm fine with Bowser being the villain, hell, he was somewhat the villain in Bowsers Inside Story, I don't actually care that fawfuls not in, he had a good story and it has ended, I actually really enjoyed the combat in the dream world, it was unique and I love it, Dreamburt wasn't as bad as I remembered, and Idk why I had that point about Starlow. If you are wondering what my original comment was, its just me being pointlessly negative for no reason, and all of my points were the opposite of what I said here.

Crash Schwarzenegger it wasn't really. The game is good but replaying it puts a lot of people off, since no skippable cutscenes. I lost my copy 2 years ago and bought another, but I'm probably not gonna play it because of the tutorials.
I would have to disagree. The game was not that good compared to the last 2 entries, with a rather boring story, boring character design for some of the side characters, and areas that shouldn't take as long as they do to complete. The final boss is a pathetic mess of unbalanced gameplay, able to heal all the damage taken thus far if you mess up once.

Diggydoesminecraft I think this game is atleast my 3rd favorite. This game had some of my favorite boss battles in the series. Antasma was awesome but, Bowser made a better boss. The final boss is not that difficult tbh, he can be destroyed pretty easily, he's almost easier than Dark Bowser/Core. Most of the problems people had with this game were pretty trivial. The tutorials really weren't that bad. It's kinda like the carrot minigame from BiS. Its not as bad as you remembered. Backtracking was the bad either. It wasn't like chapter 4 of TTYD. The only true problem I had was the Dream World not looking "Dreamy" enough. But this game easily tops Partners and Paper Jam, maybe not BiS and definitely not SS.
I call you out as a cheater on that vid, during the fight against Antasma X, he zoomed in to hide the health meter as he obviously took damage, there was also numerous audio cuts which clearly hinted at this too. Not to mention some commentary from months/years back say otherwise and I support the comments calling him out as such.

Welp, i saw she/he cutted a lot of parts in the video trying to hide that he cutted the video as more as possible, trying to hide the remaining turns counter to not making it way too evident. But its clear that he cutted a lot of parts by the audio.

Guys, I Have a idea for the next game of Mario & Luigi:
Mario & Luigi: Parallel Story
History: A monster that would be the new antagonist of the franchise wanted to get the Mirrored Diamond that had the power to double its power to destroy all but the guardian of the Diamond (new protagonist of the franchise) tried To prevent the monster, with help of Starlow, but the diamond broke in 3 parts and spread by the Mushroom Kingdom, being that ended up dividing the monster and Starlow in two. After that, Guardian and "normal" Starlow fell to the east where Mario and Luigi were, and one of the three pieces of the diamond. Meanwhile to the west, falls the second part of Starlow, the "evil" starlow, and meets with Wario and Waluigi. Evil Starlow talks to retrieve the diamond pieces and if they do, they will be rich. WARIO Brothers accepted, Mario and Luigi decide to help the guardian and normal Starlow to recover the pieces. In the end, Mario and Luigi would face one of the monsters, while Wario and Waluigi would face each other.
The game was going to depend on the actions of each pair, and one pair could only continue if the other did one thing.
So it's a parallel story.

Or when he does this volleyball attack, if you look at the small guys, some of them don't raise their hands which means they will be skipped

I wish more mid-bosses worked on basic gimmicks that didn't override the gameplay entirely. I wish Mario and Luigi had more mid-bosses period.

Dream Team is underappreciated. I will admit I have a bias though as I find the music in this game to be the best of all the Mario and Luigi RPGs. While I've listened to Paper Jam's, I have not played that game as I usually borrow someone's 3DS or 2DS to play, and I rarely have money or time to play games. That being said, here's a thought:
Imagine a Mario and Luigi game, but with Wario and Waluigi. The two duos would not partner up until the latter part of the game, where all four are essential to defeating a massive power (I would accept Bowser but only if he's stuck in a power above him) and the two sets of bros would have different attack systems. In addition to that, it's two separate story lines leading up to the final area of the game. While Mario and Luigi want to be the heroes, Wario and Waluigi are essentially the antiheroes (think Bowser from BIS) and you get to play as both protagonists and antagonists. No idea what the story would be, and I know it's not a new concept.

Joe F dream team is my least favorite game of all time. Want to know why. Antasma that's why. I fought every enemy I saw and did all the side missions and got all the best gear and I still couldn't beat them even on a attempt that I played perfectly because I didn't have enough stats. Apparently you have to make both bros glass cannons if you want to beat antasma at a reasonable level so me putting points into every stat evenly completely ruined my chances at beating the game without spending hours grinding.

Dream team, paper jam, and superstar saga + bowser's minions. superstar saga is so far my favorite and dream team in 2nd and paper jam in 3rd. I always want play all of them in the series. But I love all three of them :D

It was a editing mistake smartasses. If he took damage the damage number would be red, no its yellow. So Antasma X took damage.
Did you watch this muted? If so, you didn't hear the audio suddenly change.
It's honestly impressive how much retarded people think he didn't take damage because the taken damage is yellow and not red.
Here's what happened: during the antasma x sequence with bats with the suspicious zoom, he zoomed to hide the health count thing. He then made his way through the sequence, except with 2 special events:
1, he jumped on a bat and killed it, with 87 damage dealt to the bat (hence the yellow background).
2, he took damage from a bat, less than or equal to 30 damage.
However, we didn't witness 2; that is because he edited it out. This is noticeable with 3 factors;
1, the suspicious zoom in - an "editing mistake" apparently, you bunch of retards - that starts at the beginning of the sequence, and ends after the pillow dude (forgot his name, haven't played this in a long time) heals him. That's because he healed back his taken damage, making the health counter go back to normal.
2 and 3, the fade effect and the music change around 11:39. If you pay close attention it's obvious.
There we fucking go. Now stop saying it's an editing mistake or any other idiotic excuse.

Hyper Sound antasma is the worst boss in any Nintendo game. I had fought every enemy I encounter did all the side quest and got all the best gear. I couldn't beat antasma even on an attempt that I played perfectly. Timed bosses and missions in general need to be easier then a boss or mission at that point in the game would be so that it is never impossible for a player to beat that mission or boss because of the time limit.
Zorua Fox Lots of peoppe beat him though. Just because you can't beat him, doesn't mean he's the worst boss. Git gud
akab l never get hit and I perfected all my attacks I just die to the turn time limit of this boss. It has nothing to do with getting gud but spending hours grinding to get my attack stat high enough. Up until that point level doesn't matter at all if you are good enough. However that boss is impossible to beat at the level I'm at and I got bored of grinding for hours checking to see if my attack is high enough not beating antasma on a perfect run rinse repeat.
Zorua Fox me too I was at level 35 and kept dieing and grinding to level 40 and died sometimes and beat him

The Antasma X fight is extremely difficult to complete, regardless of whether you get hit or not. I have yet to complete it but i seeiozsly doubt that i'll ever have the patience to do it as i'd need to do some serious grinding.

I usually use the soft hammer X, which downs enemy's defense, but it stacks every time, so you can do double the damage in turn 4 respect 1, it's the best hammer in the game by far

look on bright side: you didnt have the displeasure of fighitng one of the most infuratingly hard bosses in all of gaming... the boss has the ability to leave the battle and get back way too much health every turn and only stops if he fully heals or you kill a small army and sometimes he just spams that ability before you get the chance to do much damage to him

I wish the game has more bosses. They're pretty much the biggest selling point of this game that makes it worthwhile. It's a shame the rest of the game focuses too much on tutorials and not having any sort of threat looming in the story to the point where the pacing is just awful.

I agree. Paper Jam didn't have the same charm and the places felt GENERIC (same themes as in the "New Super Mario Bros." series). In the others like yeah you get the reoccuring jungle and ice themes, but I feel they're rather elevated for the most part (like I really love Somnom Woods from this game, felt very mystical and the music there is great. Also in this game, exploring Luigi's dream world is a concept I like too). I also feel Paper Jam has a bunch of mini-games as the main story (Paper Toad collecting gets tedious lol), and it feels very... choppy to me.
MrTimtendo Amen. Nothing so far has matched Bowser's Inside Story's grandeur, but DT is a close second. However, Paper Jam just felt way too ordinary, which isn't necessarily good. No original enemies, villians, and a poorly paced and predictable plot line really didn't do it for me. Dream team featured a fantastic new story and new villain that immersed you into its world. Paper Jams environments felt too plain. Compare "Gloomy Woods" to Somnom Woods and you'll get my point. Doesn't help that all of PJ'S bosses are standard Mario shtick. King Boo, King Bobomb, Pokey, Petey Pirahna... *_SNOOOOORE_*
Big Massif was always hard af to me in Hard mode. His angered mode always scared me.

It looks like he got hit on the Anatasma one (sorry for spelling) because 1 it cut and zoomed in until he got healed so kinda suspicious. He also zoomed back in when the attack happened probably because hp doesn't show then.
