First of all this is not an easily job to do ! Second , you have covered the cooling holes found on the casing of that DC motor, the shaft and propeller are not balanced and you have some vibrations and no DC ''management'' that will damage you DC motor.
Voltage spikes from driving the Brushed DC motor will kill your fan header if you plug this contraption in to the PC. I have yet to see a more useless "hack" than this.
@@LukeHoneyball would love to see 12V capacitor withstanding 30V back EMF, they break down very easily. Backwards diode is standard, recommended way of dealing with brushed motor voltage spikes.
Thats a downgrade. Cooling fans are designed to be quiet, very effecient, no voltage spikes and can last a very long time. Unlike the brushed dc motor.
That’s a lot of effort to produce a noisy fan that’s likely to burn out pretty quickly. Surely there must be a simpler solution to PC ventilation (such as more lower-speed (and so quieter and more efficient) fans.

Adding a capacitor will fix this problem...

Sticking a washer over the ventilation holes probably doesn’t help either…!
@@Antagon666 no a ceramic cap will do just fine. Though if u really need it a diode could also do the trick
