How to use a gauge to measure neck radius

We're actually pretty lucky we have these tools freely available. Thanks to mass retailers they're out there by the scads. Still, let's say you do get a set, how do you actually use them? FYI.

I watched the whole video and never learned what the title promised - namely, how to use a radius gauge. You thoroughly explained how to figure out *which* gauge to use, and then you stopped!

Why do so many people have varying ways to set up the saddles. Is this the proper way I’m new to fender saddles wanting to set up my Strat. Any input would be appreciated.

The different methods should lead to the same result: a setup that works for both the guitar and player.
With any guitar that has height adjustable saddles, start with setting the height of the outer strings, then use the proper radius gauge to set the remaining string heights.
