Such a bad play by Nik at the end. 110k on a 90k sized pot. Just screams trying to get Rampage to fold with a bluff. 3 queens on the board not likely either of them has the 4th. Super aggressive bet on the river instead of value betting decreases likelihood of any pairs. This leaves likely hands airball could be playing with to be Ace high with a decent kicker with worst case scenario being a AK which would just be a split. Pretty sure Rampage would have had a tougher time calling into 40k-60k river bet instead of the 110k. Even Rampage was like wtf is up with the 110k bet lol

Airball was on an all-time heater… some players get on these lucky runs for what seems like month after month… it always ends at some point, and if their game isn’t reliant on rageful ego-driven play like Nik’s is, then they can survive the bad runs that inevitably come. Nik is a really good player, but his game is too reliant on bravado and ego and a do-or-die competitiveness on every single big hand. If he was able to be a little more pure GTO in more spots, mixing it in with his gusto and intimidating play, he’d win even bigger than he’s won in recent times.

That 22 hand changed the whole outcome of the night, had he called he would have been on top of the world and he would have probably crushed

Airball was in shock after that call with the AK hand. Even when the next hand was dealt, you could see that he was still wondering how Rampage could have made that call. That’s the thing about these players playing on livestreams all the time you can see exactly how they play. Nik airballs strategy is effective but if you do it at the wrong time. The times rampage called, Nik airball could’ve easily had a better hand. I wouldn’t attempt bluffing Rampage bc he’s the type of player that would call with highest pair.
