PLATE FILTER PRESS CLEANING by AX SYSTEM

• Wastewater treatment plants collect our wastewater.
• This water is containing human waste and industrial residues.
• To separate water from solid waste, a PLATE FILTER PRESS is used.
• A PLATE FILTER PRESS is composed of a succession of trays covered with filter cloths, tightened by hydraulics cylinders.
• The charged liquid is introduced by a pump, the water passes through the fabric while the impurities are retained, forming a "cake".
• The cakes are then compacted by air or water under pressure.
• After opening the filter to collect the cakes, it is necessary to clean the filter cloths and this is where AX SYSTEM comes in!
• A robot moves the trays one after the other to slide an automated cleaning head.
• The cleaning head sprays high pressure water, thus cleaning the fabrics perfectly.
• The frequency and intensity of the cleaning is adjusted according to the degree of soiling.
• A sensor assembly ensures proper operation.
