I was just asking in the previous video if Paul Lynde had ever been on the show! Mr. Lynde is one of my most favorite comedians of all time, alongside comedians like Don Knotts, Tim Conway, Johnathan Winters, and of course Carol Burnett herself among others!
I would KILL to read what Paul Lynde wrote in the guest book! Then again, I'd love to see what *everyone* wrote over the 11 years. I wonder how many books she had? I'm sure some of them occupied an entire page with their big, bold signatures and messages!
What a rare talent Miss Carol, we miss viewing such a healthy helping of fantastical wonderful variety show... You made us all inspire to be a better person, a heartfelt thanks to you Carol and all of your guests. Much love 😊🥰
LOL.. Awesome! So politically incorrect in so many ways :)))) Love it. Where are all the triggered?? Surprised they haven't taken this one down yet. HAHAHAHAHA

I was 10 when this episode aired. I watched Carol for years but I don't remember the early episodes. I loved the As the Stomach Turns skits. This one was pretty good. Another favorite was a couple years prior with Betty Grable and Martha Raye. Carol was one of the best television performers of all time.
One of the best opening numbers ever. Happy Thanksgiving! Also I have to share one of my favorite moments of this episode: "Mumsy!" "Twinsies!" "Halfsies!"
Harvey doing his Paul Lynde impression right along with him was priceless. Everyone (including me) had a Paul Lynde impression, but Harvey was spot-on.
Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful! Thank you so much for airing this Episode today. Lots of laughs and forgotten songs that brought back so many memories of the times. Those were certainly the days.
Hilarious show! Just in time for Thanksgiving. I also love the dancing number with beautiful music. Does anybody know the name of that piece and its composer?

No American Indians in the Thanksgiving scene? When I was a kid in the 70s they were half the story we were taught - the pilgrims were thankful for their help in staying alive - like half of them? All the tricks like burying fish with corn seeds & stuff, learning which foods were edible, teaching them how to hunt the local game, all that. And of course the whole thanks to God thing.
All art is at once symbol and surface. Those who see the surface are shallow. Those who go beyond the surface do so at their own peril. ...all art is quite useless.
Thats the best part of free will, we all have the right to choose whats right for our own lives, Thanksgiving is what We make of it, I even sat at the table with Native Americans..
Paul Lynde was the voice of Templeton the rat on Charlotte’s Web. He was also in one of my favorite classic movies, Send Me No Flowers, alongside Doris Day and Rock Hudson. He was so campy and hilarious!

Such incredible talent! Carol Burnett and her company were brilliant and watching Carol on "Password" shows how quick and agile her mind was... ❤
Great to all of us that grew up watching the best TV show of all times.
Carol was remarkable. Boy do I miss those good old , warm family shows.
That sketch about the lovers killed me! 😆😆😆 Killing someone with a banana is very hard.🤣
My baby boy was one month old. Now he’s a cloud architect.
50 years later and this is still so-o funny! 😄😄😄
When Harvey nails Paul Lynde’s voice and mannerisms in As The Stomach Turns…hilarious!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I came to share the same thought. Had to watch that twice because it was spot on!
Happy Thanksgiving 🍽🦃 day❗️
I never knew Dyan Cannon could sing. Another star who should have been in musicals.

All the best of slapstick, combined with all the best of intelligent satire, performed by the best in both worlds. Very hard to beat.

I like how the show began and the turkey prop that kept accidentally falling off the table. That was funny.

Hilarious show! Just in time for Thanksgiving. I also love the dancing number with beautiful music. Does anybody know the name of that piece and its composer?

If you haven't seen Dyan recently... don't look. Remember her as she was.

Am I the only one wondering how they were shooting us in the air to get turkeys? Didn’t they see the WKRP episode that proved turkeys can’t fly?
LOL!

Wild turkeys can, and do, roost in trees.

i love the show but i do skip the intermission part
I remember when this first came on, and telling my parents to “Tell that to the Native Americans ancestors.” and I told him I would not partake.

I suppose just about every family has at least one.
Why is it so hard for you to get the episode right?

Hollywood logic, they think turkeys can fly, A LA WKRP.
Wild turkeys can, and do, roost overnight in trees.
