As children we love the heros, as we grow older we start to recognize the villains for their talent, especially if they really are more intelligent villains, or like the villains more. Of course I do not support the Dazzlings' actions, but even as a kid I loved their songs, more so than the rainbooms. The rainbooms were not as good as the Dazzlings, but good for them that they won, the Dazzlings could've caused real destruction if they weren't stopped. I still justly stand by my opinion that in an actual singing competition, without physical friendship magic, the Dazzlings would've gotten my vote, even if I weren't under their spell.

Y'know, I actually understand The Dazzlings' thought process. A competition encourages people to work themselves and develop their skills in order to obtain want they want or achieve a goal. Also, occasionally losing builds character and endurance. A Battle of the Bands promotes teamwork and skill growth which otherwise wouldn't happen if everyone were to win. Granted, The Dazzlings are propagating this idea purely for selfish reasons, but their standalone points definitely hold merit.
