There are so many subtly beautiful things you notice when the song is slowed down. The dazzlings were honestly far superior to the rainbooms. Being villains they got to have haunting, dour and angelic voices and music while the rainbooms were given the typical “kid friendly” treatment: loud, bright and obvious 😔

Plot twist: Hasbro says that the dazzlings are close friends but what if they are actually sisters and their necklaces is something special from their family and that’s why they never let the necklaces go and kept them because it’s special.
The Dazzlings are cool. I like how they act like they can't stand each other, bickering all the time and such. But they stay together, even after losing their powers and all hope of getting them back or going back to Equestria. They acknowledge that their sisters/really-close-friends are the only thing they have left, and they like each other enough to keep it that way, which I think is really sweet.

Okay like the normal version is alright, better than the hero songs of the movie but thats not saying much. But this? THIS. This DESERVES its name as a siren song! THIS supremely outclasses the normal version by far. Slow, sensual, rythmic. Id die for a cover of this if anyone ends up making one.
Random thing I noticed, but did anyone realize how some of these lyrics sound like place holders? I don’t think it’s a bad thing, but it’s a really cool detail because historically, sirens just sing whatever they want and people are tricked into thinking it’s what they most desire.
