Appreciate the good content,I enjoyed the ballasts being added 😂 and that slant front twin snail v8 😮❤,didn't know some guys go hard lately especially with fuel prices. Cape Town sleepers be getting more sneakier ❤
This was a good one. Usually the drag cars don't come to these things and we don't know what power they make but damn, these guys are not playing games. 😅
There was a period where I really wanted air but now I don't really care too much for it. Im enjoying the car handling so much better. With air you usually lose that unless you go with a very expensive kit.
Funny i always wanted to drop my wagon because on high speeds i kinda feel like it floats abit also did u ever change clutch or have urs rebuild on the wagon?
@@T-Tspares You should drop it. It feels amazing low. It's really planted. But I've got wide wheels which helps. I had the clutch does this week actually. It's now on a single mass ABF/VR6 combo. It feels really good. My DMF was gone but the clutch was fine at just over 300k on the clock.
@@lowdl cool thanx i might give that idea a shot because i have ol more or less the same setup and i can feel on high boost its really slipping so before it gives in i want to get an idea of to build but also dont want something with to much bite for daily purpose
Can't impound for 'tampered' or 'modified' vehicle, they can maybe take your license disk yes, but a road worthy will sort that out again. Checkout the acts referenced in the by laws and the by laws itself. Get an alignment or suspension specialist to inspect your vehicle and get the to do checks and verify compared to the road act and road worthy act and then you should be good papie
I hope it doesnt end this way as well. I follow a channel PFISpeed who focus on Honda swops and tuning in Colorado. Same thing, they getting hammered on selling performance parts and tuning of road legal vehicles.
So the In-laws, sorry, the by Laws.... what about OEM cars with aftermarket intakes or software etc or do gattas only look at lowered suspension and noisy exhaust? I have seen this picture before, each gatta at a given roadblock will have his or her own interpretation of what is modified, hell a 10 kw sticker for some of them would be considered as a modification. Until something else serious in the eyes of the law rears its head, this will be short lived. Seems like a trailor is the way to go. Thanks again for the lekker content Lorenzo.
That's the issue, they keep it very general so that it's up to the interpretation of the officer. Using your discretion when it comes to law is dangerous. Anyways, I'm going to get an A-frame for the Golf in the coming months. I just don't have the space for a trailer.
COCT have lost their nut with the new by laws. honestly, they should not be messing around with peoples businesses like that. the modified car industry is huge all over the world.
They can tax the parts coming into the country but when you get caught with it on your car it's illegal 🤣 it doesn't make sense. They need to stop it at the source but they won't. They're hustling us.
12:39 thanks for with fore standing tbis pressure for us. One of a kind find on video
🙌🏽 glad to hear it.
Lol that guys reaction on 9:04😂😂😂

Good video enjoyed it.
Thank you
Lorenzo 👍
Great to hear it!
Thanks buddy I'm in your video 😊 big fan of the mk2
Nice feature there 💪🏽
And thank you. 🙏🏽
I think your Wagon looks good with the new suspension height. Thanks for the great content.
It drives so much better than it looks now which is great, instead of the other way around. 😅 Glad you're enjoying the content.
@8:51 LOL, one tyre fire bwhahahahahaha
Man i need to come to a dyno day this looked like a hoot and a half for real!!

@@lowdl didnt know that TT V8 existed. Mans didnt show the bay there i see being sneaky
@@YusufPetersenCPT I would have loved to see the bay but he kept it under wraps. He raced at Street mania a few months back. It's a savage.
Time for air ride🤓

Would have loved to see the golf on rollers other than J2p's. That box Toyota is an absolutely beast.
It's a pity it didn't work out the way I wanted it to but next time. That KE70 is a savage. I need one. 😅
Wagon looks great lifted anyway 👍
It's growing on me. It drives so much better now. I find myself pushing it in the bends a lot more now. That's extra travel is lovely.

And id probably drop it after i get something bigger then a 16inch for now with all the by-laws and crap id rather stay out of the lime light lol

Thanks a lot. I'll need to get my ducks in a row just incase I get a traffic cop that's having a bad day.
🎉 4:24 best sound if your a NFS UNGRND die hard... 🚗☁️🙉
They sound really good. 👌🏽
City of Cape Town definitely cares about their residents safety. Definitely not a money making scheme.
They impound around a 1000 vehicles a month and will probably aim for 1500 a month including private vehicles. Safety and profit can coexist 🤣
Yea they're minting it. Show drop for the win I guess 😂@@lowdl
Capetown is taking notes from California
I really hope we never get to that point. Cali is wild. But it doesn't stop the guys from modifying. 🤣

I haven't heard it being called that but I'm sure it is. It's a beast.
