What is Myopia, Hyperopia, and Astigmatism?

I visited an optometrist yesterday to discuss a lasik procedure. She told me I have both Myopia, and Astigmatism, and she gave me two options do tack about and decide. This video has helped me understand the issue, and will help me in future discussion with my optometrist, and making decisions in this regard.
