I love watching you do your artwork Shannon, you do your pencil technique just like I do, so I feel so connected to the way you work. I started doing coloured pencils way back in 70's when my mother bought me a tin of Caran D'ache aqua pencils when I was 12 and they started my journey off for me. I still have that tin and the pencils are still the originals all be it worn down after almost 50 yrs!

I only found your channel a few weeks ago and I have been binge watching ever since (hope it's helped with your TH-cam stats) ‼️😊
To be honest I am not a coloured pencil artist - I find them much too time consuming and being impatient I prefer pastel pencils. But I love your vlogs and the chat alongs while you draw.
At the moment I'm listening to you as I paint a picture of a chipmunk surrounded by mushrooms, inspired by Anna Bucciarelli a brilliant watercolour artist, but as soon as I'm finished I'm going to do this lovely blue tit on a tap in either pastel or watercolour.
Please keep doing your "chat alongs" . Its like having a friend in my studio with me.

They’re not the quickest of mediums are they! I have some pastels myself but I rarely use them, maybe I should give them another go for a draw along some time ☺️
