I still find the exhibit size really weird. They put something like the dartfrogs and smaller anthropods in a terraium thats absolutely ENORMOUS for their size while puttig 4 iguanas in a glas box thats barely big enough for one. We kinda need different sizes, so you dont have to look for a hour to find your salamander. This could also be a possiblility to give us a bigger exhibit or maybe the option to combine 2 for green anacondas or bigger pythons. Also i would like to see the iguana as a habitat animal since they are the same length as the dwarf caiman and would give some diversity to the reptiles.
I really love the blue-tongued skink. I'm from Australia so i enjoy the same ay you enjoy the American bullfrog. it's just an iconic animal that you see in your backyard.
Definitely keep in mind with Gilas that they tend to spend most of their time underground. Personally idk anyone who’s kept them outdoors so I’d be interested to see how that turns out in the future!
I have a vendetta against keeping larger animals inside at all times. It's why I love Kamp Kenan so much, he gives all of his animals the opportunity to be outside
I feel like why the exhibits are so "HATED" is beacause 1. Tiny dart frogs are confined in a absolutely massive exhibit. 2. The exhibit animals do literally nothing but move their heads, stick their heads out, and teleport, unless they are a semi aquatic exhibit animal
Yes tarantulas are spiders, the biggest spiders. There are actually some really cool, colorful, and beautiful species of tarantula that are not in the game. They definitely went for more classic species. They all seem to be new world species, most of the colorful tarantulas are old world, but there are some really colorful new world species as well!
Saying "Who doesn't love rattlesnakes?" is a bit of a dumb thing to say since a lot of people are afraid of snakes. Plus for me personally, I'm not that big into rattlesnakes or vipers in general.
Great video! The death adder and puff adder are unfortunately way too skinny, and they need to fix the western diamondback skin and maybe tweak the head shape and skin of the boa as well, the other snakes look pretty good!
Well, it's always pretty weird to find someone else who doesn't like axolotls, but to be fair I can relate. I find them disgusting because they're so slimy and slippery, and those small eyes creep me out

I think there still could be news. We haven't had a weekly streaming week with Wednesday/Thursday Update/DLC Announcement yet, so I wouldn't rule this out. The North America Animal Pack/Update 1.7 was announced on a Wednesday/Thursday, so this could definitely be the case this fall. I'm thinking Update 1.11 will be announced the morning (EST) before the stream. They drop hints about the DLC which will be announced Thursday. Since the Sounds of Summer album was probably quite a bit of work, instead of announcing the stream the day before like they usually do, I think they wanted to announce it in advance to build hype and interest. That's my thoughts, probably wrong lol.
all the snakes in game are way too small and thin but then again they are all launch animals and the launch animals are either really good or really mid. We have much better devs now that actually make realistic animals, wish they would go back and remaster some launch animals that need it

I freaking love the red eyed tree frog I used to have one so it’s super exciting to see them in the game:)
This is how I would rank the regular exhibit animals in Planet zoo.
Excellent: Red-eyed tree frog, Lehmann's poison dart frog, Gila monster, yellow anaconda and fire salamander
Good: Axolotl, giant Malaysian leaf insect, golden poison dart frog, North American bullfrog and titan beetle
Mediocre: Boa constrictor, red-kneed tarantula, salmon pink bird-eating spider, giant desert hairy scorpion, western diamondback rattlesnake, sacred scarab beetle, giant forest scorpion, desert horned viper, lesser Antillean iguana and eastern brown snake
Bad: Giant burrowing cockroach, giant tiger land snail, Goliath beetle, eastern blue-tongued skink, Danube crested newt, Brazilian wandering spider, Amazonian giant centipede and Goliath frog
Terrible: Common death adder, Goliath bird-eating spider, northern diamondback terrapin, puff adder and green iguana
