Birth control sucked for me too! I tried mirenna, nuva ring, pill.. made me sad and angry. And like you said every year it got worse. I’m close to going for a laparoscopy soon! Hoping everyone reading this finds the peace they need. You are valid
I’ve been dealing with endo pain since I was 10. No one ever took me seriously, and back then endo was never talked about. I’m 34 and finally having surgery and it sounds like it’s pretty severe. My pain brings me to my knees and I can’t walk. I puke from the pain. My husband had to wheel me into the ER twice last year. And now the only reason I’m being taken seriously now is because I’m trying to get pregnant. They think I have stage 4, I have 2 endometrioma chocolate cysts, my right Fallopian tube is blocked, and he’s pretty sure it’s on my bowels and I’ll need a bowel resection. It needs so much more awareness, ridiculous no one takes us seriously for years!! I use naproxen, heating pads, muscle relaxers, a tens unit, sometimes only narcotics help.
I don’t understand how waiting to remove it benefits you in any way; it just grows in the process and makes whatever surgery you do have more involved with more possible complications with more endo tissue possibly not removed and able to come back. Why do we not have surgery to remove it WHEN ITS SMALL AND PREVENT LARGER ISSUES
@@brookebeck3367 it wasn’t my decision, no one believed my pain for years. Til I finally took matters into my own hands and saw a specialist. The pain became unbearable.
I have endometriosis, I've had excrutiating cramps during my period since I was 14. Been to the ER a few times, used birth control for most of that time and currently am again. However it isn't working anymore. I have been bleeding for 9 months every single day and am in pain even on it. It used to be the one thing that calmed it to where I could function. Now we are talking about having a baby which obviously means getting off of birth control. I am absolutely terrified. The pain is indescribable. Muscle relaxers, prescription pain medication, heating pads literally won't even touch the pain. I have memory loss I'm in that amount of pain. I'm convinced it's worse than childbirth pain because I can't humanly imagine anything worse. It sucks that I've seen 12 different obgyns and no one has helped me other than here's narcotics and birth control have a great day. I want to try for a baby more than anything but after 4 years no luck before this, I fear how many of those painful periods I'll have to experience to maybe even get a shot at conceiving. 😔
I am so sorry you have been dealing with all that! It is so hard! Thank you for opening up and sharing that with me. I wish I had the answer for you. Sending you prayers of healing.

@@olisaprice9870 worse than childbirth from what I hear. There are days I can’t walk.
I think I have it, it’s so fucking painful
I can fully relate to this, I also have endometriosis, extra long cycle and I can’t handle birth control.
