You have basically confirmed my fears about driverless cars - they are not equipped for the chaotic, windy roads in the UK, where people park on the curb and road markings don't get repainted often enough.
Yup, our nation of windy roads threaded through ancient buildings isnt quite the same as America, a young nation huge and built for cars. Everything in america is just straight roads.

Owning a Tesls is great when you have a driveway to park and charge it on. Problem is most people don't.
The design of that boot (trunk for yanks) is outrageous.
Exactly. I live in Dublin in Ireland and there's a total lack of charging stations especially in residential areas so what if somebody is renting? It's hardly an incentive to get an electric car tbh.
Autopilot should most definitely not be used in city or town driving. The technology is far for being able to do that safely.

You're not supposed to drive them on these types of roads yet, it isn't designed for them.
After using autopilot for a longer road trip, I can say that it makes certain parts of driving way easier, and makes other parts of driving way harder. It's a little strange. For roads like the ones he's driving here, definitely just save yourself the hassle and drive 100% manually. For highways, though, you can drive basically 100% autopilot with little to no input.
Especially in UK where driving is madness, the roads are too small and always cars parked on the road you need to avoid
Yeah looks stressful in regular and minor roads. There's too many variables and obstructions in our UK streets.
Jack, to find the saved clip just jump to the last 30 seconds or so of the 10-minute clip. It always stops recording right when the “sentry event” ends. Meaning the “event” will always be right before the 10-minute video ends. Also, you still don’t own a red Model 3 In case you forgot 😛

@@felixarkang5414 It is a bit stupid there isn't a readily advertised way to put in your own sim-card... I have 4 simcards on my 25€/month contract. I know changing the sim is possible, but it obviously likely voids your warranty.
I am from America and it’s so amazing how everything is the opposite when it comes to driving in the UK vs USA. Pretty awesome to see the difference. Lol definitely gave me a few jumpy moments in the video. ❤️😁

I've been in a Model 3, with Ludicrous Mode enabled. Very fun. It was also interesting watching the autopilot navigate Australian semi rural roads.

I had my model3 for 6 months. It was a great novelty having got mine in august 19 and being one of the first on the road.
But practically 0. You find yourself charging all the time, the range is nowhere near the advertised range, if you drive at real speeds and have air con on etc. Speaking of aircon you have to in this car I've never known another car that mists up the second you turn the air con off. And the interior for a 40k+ car is so budget and cheap an average citroen is a more pleasant place to be.

You have to realize how different the UK roads are to the ones in the US. US has wider roads and more marking(with no roundabouts as well). Definitely suits autopilot driving on US roads over UK.
