Not many things in life stop me in full flow as they do when listening to Damien. This is a jaw dropping version. His gigs in the Arches and Stereo in Glasgow over the years still burn bright in my soul.
It’s a shame he’s not more recognized now, but I feel fully sure Damien Jurado will be a legend in the future, with a box set to sit alongside Nick Drake’s.
