That's actually something out of the show. Jaden knows there's a rule where if the duel ends in a draw they both graduate, but Zane doesn't want his pity and takes himself out.
The headmaster Sheppard confronting his pupil and Zane's decision at the end (that's the moment he did his iconic cards throw-away) are overlooked moments of the series
I only just realized. The reason why this Jaden deck has 3 Battleguard rage is because that deck does not appear to be running the field card Skyscrapper. Which both essentially do the same thing where elemental heroes gain 1000 att. Except that one occurs during the damage step, while the other is permanent and sends destroyed cards to the hand.

So, since Deion kept mentioning I had to look it up... yes, Jaden used Mirror Force exactly once. But, I also checked and no, Jaden never used Battleguard Rage, the only appearance of that card was in Arc V

Dr. Ongo Bongo And when Bastion opened his school jacket against Chazz, it shows a vest of 6 decks. It’s so silly but so funny. It’s funny in hindsight that Bastion could’ve solved the problem in Season 2.
if the decks are pulled from legacy of the duelist like i think they are for some reason zane only has cyber end for most of his duels in the game despite using it in the anime during some of them, there's a lot of weird inconsistencies with decks in legacy of the duelist

@@jayraiden5457 nah most modern versions of decks like to go first so they can set up their board without many worries. Heros and CyDra are just unique in how effective and thirsty they are to kill you with one big punch
Also Bubbleman’s effect in the anime is exactly what you thought it was. If you special summon it by having no other cards in hand, you get to draw 2. They nerfed it for the actual card game :(
It's funny how a newer Hero, Destiny Hero Celestial, can do something similar but it's activated by banishing itself and something else from the grave, making it much better than Bubbleman lol. Celestial also has a pretty solid on field effect to boot
I love the GX themed Duels GX is my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Series of all time I don't know which themed duels you have planned up the pipeline but I'm really hoping to see The Series Final Duel Between Jaden and Yugi is my second favorite or favorite duel of all time right up there with Yami vs Yugi it's so hard to call a favorite with those two anyway keep up the amazing content and keep getting your game on
I think my favorite from the first time they dueled is Zane standing there unphased when he took damage because it was a hologram. Jaden: “you can pretend like it hurts dude” 😂
If I understand Seereax's strategy correctly, if Doto didn't have Final Fusion, he would have destroyed Flame Wingman, used De-Fusion on his Cyber End Dragon, destroyed Doto's two other monsters, and then would have used Damage Polarizer to negate Power Bond's effect damage and ultimately win the duel. Is that correct?
I am loving these MD videos! They are so much more chill and y'all seem like you all have so much more fun doing these fun duels vs. having to deal with Rhyme's anti-fun decks and attitude in serious duels...
These videos are so good, I could watch them a thousand times. Also, if I'm right, then even if banishing Power Bond stopped it's effect, Doto still had game with his fusion recovery letting him bring back Avian and polymerization to bring back Flame Wingman.

Funny enough in the Sub he starts said duel with 2 mirror forces in his hand, but in the Dub he only has one and the other mirror force became a polymerization.
Pretty sure this deck has Battleguard Rage to emulate skyscrapers anime effect. Skyscraper in the tcg only works when you attack with a hero, but the anime was when a hero battles.

Jaden did use Mirror Force, in the duel against Titan early on in GX during Episode 6. Oddly, I don't think he ever uses it again after that duel.
