    Man, I missed a video.... But look at you making this kind of work look more approachable for people. Good job. The only thing I do different is put a little heat shrink over the connection points.

    I always have a set of M / F connectors with short lengths of wire attached to the tabs to keep it aligned in case of excess heat melting the plug casing, works well especially with smaller connectors.

    I always solder my connectors with them together, that way the other one acts as a heat sink
