  • Coniston Water is located in the Lake District. We stayed at Coniston Coppice Park Caravan and Motorhome Club site.
We had a fabulous walk up Old Man of Coniston with the dogs. Dogs were on lead (sheep about) and it was very doable walk with dogs.
Another fabulous walk with the dogs to Hows Tarn - a really peaceful and beautiful walk.
We had a few drinks sitting out with the dogs at Yewdale Inn and The Crown Inn.
We had a lovely pizza (one of the best) from the pop up canteen at Coniston Coppice Park CAMC.
We love motorhoming in our Mobilvetta k yacht 85 with our two dogs.

If you are a a member of CAMC there be be a discount and I think all have ehu
Non memebers for June showing 13 pn per adult including awning.
Just check out Coniston Coppice Camping
The one closer to the lake maybe cheaper but that did t have ehu - sorry don’t know how much they charge

Shame on the dogs being on a lead all that time

Yea - couple of reasons - there were sheep around and as we have an English pointer she doesn’t walk close unless we continually tell her to heel she wanders some distance naturally and secondly we had a beautiful springer spaniel who fell 400feet from a mountain in north wales and had serious back injury which resulted in some loss of function in her rear leg so we are very cautious with dogs on mountains now
