He would pass later that year... knowing that with the analog phone line with the crackle and buzzing in the background, create an atmosphere I can't really put words on.. Interesting feeling.
The Other People Place & Transllusion are Stinson's solo project, yet he doesnt admit it. This shows you how sincere and humble he was. And it proofs also how serious and devoted he was about the Drexciyan concept. RIP brother
I love them for their conceptual approach to each song, these days this is less and less common, because of the unstable economy on the planet, many compromise their principles and go into making money (not that this is bad, you need to eat, as well as support yourself , family and relatives), but the very thread of what a person started with is lost. Many have talent, but due to the fact that society would rather go and drink coffee from Starbucks than buy an artist's track much cheaper than this coffee, or even go and download it for free. In words, everyone is friendly, but in reality it turns out to be completely different. And this is very sad (I hope you understand my message). And first of all - no negativity from me at all, just after listening to this interview I decided to share what I care about. The idea should be in everything you do! Thank you very much for this phone call record, it's pure gold! And RIP Mr. James, you are with us with your music!
I remember listening to Neptune's Lair in my "bassdeafmobile" '94 Buick LeSabre...my 1300 watt subs giving my best girlfriends in the backseat a free massage lol...the movements they started making were priceless.... think one of them decided she was a triceratops when "Oxyplasmic Gyration Beam" or "Polymono Plexusgel" played.... the Drexciyan music concepts and leitmotifs brought us some of the most effortless joy and happy memories... music is freedom...
@@DerekBeere to be honest i made this comment when i was in a negativo space. I've since come bacc to this and other james stinson interviews, (of which there arent many) so its good to have this. Thanks for takin the time to share this, i've really appreciated it

Hi folks, Did this man do the Wawejumper track in the early 90s?
I think so. Well, he and Gerald Donald.
Loved this but the interviewer kinda sucked lol
Gee, thanks... it was an opportunity and I'm glad I did it. Sorry you were disappointed.
