In this video, we will explore the possibility of Tanjiro meeting the other Hashiras instead of Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira who first encountered Tanjiro and recognized his potential as a Demon Slayer. As we know, the Hashiras are the strongest demon slayers in the Demon Slayer Corps, each with unique skills, personalities, and backstories. Gyomei is blind, but he can kinda feel the emotions of beings, sense lies, and other stuff. I believe, he would sense Nezuko's nature in no time. Possibly, would've let her to live.
Yet he was still against having Nezuko around after she proved that she won't attack humans

Nonetheless, Tanjiro did gain Gyomei's trust and appreciation in the manga during the Hashira Training. He did admit that he didn't feel that way about Tanjiro before, but he finally sensed the goodness in him, which led him to telling his backstory to Tanjiro in order to make him become an even better person.
Knowing Sanemi's backstory, I feel like Sanemi might feel some hesitation when seeing Nezuko protect Tanjiro

@@saulgod27anime25 I think your missing out on the part that Nezuko is Tanjiros sister and the only family he has left, losing her would drive him to insanity, as said before she is the only family he has left. Nezuko is the only reason that Tanjiro isn’t out for revenge and the reason he shows mercy to demons since Giyuu basically showed them mercy by not killing Nezuko. Yes Tanjiro is kind hearted but losing Nezuko would make him want Revenge on the demon slayers for killing his sister.

not really though its just that during the meeting he still thinks that nezuko will eat humans but if he saw nezuko protecting tanjiro I think he would spared her.

He wouldn't kill Tanjiro because he not apart of the group so he doesn't follow the code. I argue though he would eventually let Nezuko live because in Mugen train from seeing Nezuko help save the pasengers he immediately accepted her as an ally. If he sees that Tanjiro has both the conviction to save Nezuko and Nezuko can restrain herself he might see a reason to recruit them, although he might ask for permission from Kagaya.

1st ending kills nexuko before tanjiro can react prays for tanjiro well being before leaving
2nd ending tanjiro protects nezuko but dies/injured by gyomei in the process if tanjiro dies, he would realise he killed a human and would break down thinking he killed a human and would pray for tanjiro forgiveness
If tanjiro is injured gyomei would lecture him of protecting his demon sis and not knowing demons are a threat to humans and send him to the hashira base to receive treatment

Hear me out. Sanemi could’ve let Nezuko live.
Considering that he lost all his siblings except for Genya, and could feel very terrible for taking away what Tanjiro has left. Sanemi only had Genya left in their family so there’s definitely a connection there. Not only that, seeing Nezuko protect Tanjiro would definitely catch Sanemi’s eye. Even though he despises demons more than anyone else, he’d definitely see Nezuko isn’t a normal demon. Seeing how Tanjiro would beg for Nezuko to be spared, Sanemi would 100% understand where he’s coming from. Under that rough exterior, he’s the kindest person. He’d definitely spare them since there’s a few parallels between the Kamado siblings and the Shinazugawa siblings
That's what I'm thinking, and I agree with you. Sanemi might see his mom in Nezuko, except Nezuko's protecting Tanjiro as a Demon instead of trying to kill and eat him like his mom did when she became one. I'm thinking if Sanemi spared him, Tanjiro might learn Wind Breathing, either through Sanemi's teacher or Sanemi himself. If Sanemi taught Tanjiro, he might be strict and firm with him though, for good reasons.

Unfortunately I think Sanemi would have probably killed Nezuko before she got the chance to protect her brother remember Giyn took his time he chatted with Tanjiro and even allowed him to try and attack him.
Senemi would have probably just gone straight for the kill and would have felt pity for Tanjiro but not enough to allow a demon to live.
That's in the case if Nezuko could show how she is not a normal demon, but Sanemi would kill Nezuko letting no time to reaction to Tanjiro
Sanemi is practically a drunk dude not caring about the pass and will make Tanjiro collapse and killing Nezuko

Out of everyone here how I see it from least likely to most likely
Sanemi- He would kill Nezuko no matter what and when Tanjiro throws an axe at him he would likely break his bones
Obanai- after killing Nezuko he would restrain Tanjiro and might chatise him to get stronger and kill demons no matter what.
Tengen- somewhat similar to Obanai, but if Nezuko is able to defend Tanjiro he might be more reluctant, but eventually kill her.
Muichiro - Unless Tanjiro can trigger one his memories he will non chalantly kill Nezuko, or he becomes curious to see what happens and leaves them alone for a few hours.
Shinobu- She would do the same thing she attemped in the spider arc and kill Nezuko painlessly . If Shiobu were to try and restrain Tanjiro and Nezuko defends him she would conflict with wheather or not to follow her ideal of befriending the demon.
Gyomei- He would be against letting Nezuko live at first, but over time seeing as how Nezuko defend Tanjiro and Tanjiro recklessly save his sister he would allow Nezuko to live and might take both of them on as disciples.
Rengoku- similar to Giyu, but he wouldn't lose his composure. He would eventually see Tanjiro conviction and Nezuko restraint and train Tanjiro to become the future Flame pillar.
Mitsuri- Due to the circumstances Mitsuri would pity Tanjiro and have the hardest time killing Nezuko due to restraining herself from the conflicted emoitions she feels. Tanjiro and Nezuko would prove how they can conjure the demon hunger. Mitsuri would then likely contact Rengoku and plead for his assistance.
I feel like with Mitsuri's scenario, that would help Tanjiro a lot and he can probably be stronger than he is at the end of the manga. I can see Rengoku making Tanjiro his student just like he did with Mitsuri, and once Tanjiro becomes stronger, he might make Tanjiro his tsuguko. I can say the same about Rengoku's scenario. I do think the worst scenario has to be Obanai and maybe Shinobu though. Obanai hates Demons so much because of his backstory (It's explained in the manga. I won't spoil it to you if you haven't read it) and Shinobu's just sadistic against Demons judging by what she did to Rui's "sister". I don't think Sanemi would be as ruthless as you and the others said though, if he sees Nezuko protecting Tanjiro, it might give him a change of heart and he might spare her. Although, there's a chance we can't see that happening due to Sanemi being faster than Giyu (He's the second fastest Hashira after Tengen), so he might quickly kill Nezuko when Tanjiro was restraining her and not give them time to dodge.

I think Sanemi would stab her a lot before actually killing her since he’s very sadistic towards demons and enjoys seeing them suffer (also to sort of mock Tanjiro whenever he insisted that Nezuko was good)
I think Muichiro would bring Tanjiro and Nezuko to the master and ask him since Tanjiro would plead for him not to kill Nezuko and Muichiro wouldn’t really care either way
But the real question is would nichirin blades even effect Nezuko since she’s immune to sunlight?
@Sun That’s actually not entirely true. When Urokodaki is explaining everything to Tanjiro after final selection, he explains that the reason nichirin blades are able to kill demons is because they absorb sunlight. And we don’t actually know when Nezuko developed her immunity to sunlight since not even she knew about it until the fight with Hantengu.

If it was Rengoku he met, it probably would've made his death in the Mugen Train arc a lot more impactful as he would've been the reason Tanjiro decided to become a demon slayer in this timeline and our introduction to them, rather than be killed almost as soon as he was introduced.

People keep saying that once the Hashira see Nezuko protect her brother they would change there mind and not kill her unfortunately its unlikely to get to that stage.
Almost all of the Hashira would have killed her at the first chance insted of holding her captive and letting Tanjiro attack them like Gyin did.
So with out that it's nothing more then a brother claiming his demon sister is not a monster whitch is a story they have all heard before and it never turns out ture.
Mitsuri could be the only one that would let the same situation happen, and probably Rengoku

Real talk. All of the hashira except giyuu would still kill Nezuko. Remember, she was putting up a fight against giyuu before going to project tanjiro and he was still being lenient. I mean he literally kept her hostage to kind of test tanjiro instead of just killing her instantly. All the other hashira wouldn't let that shit slide. Besides, literally everybody was trying to or wanted to kill her anyways. If not for the master and the trial at the corps headquarters, all of em wouldve killed nezuko. I see people say not mitsuri because of her personality but, she can't just neglect her job as a slayer and go off code. Giyuu was sent to tanjiro's location to kill a demon and if it was the other hashira then that would be their job too. Not sob and spare them, it happens to everyone in the world of demon slayer and they understand, so they have to kill demons so other people don't die.

I think Mitsuri, Sanemi, and Rengoku might also do the same. I don't know about Tengen though. With Shinobu, I do think she'll kill Nezuko without any hesitation (Since she did say she's gonna kill her fast so she doesn't feel pain when she met Tanjiro and Nezuko at Natagumo Mountain), again, same with Obanai.
Edit: I also think Muichiro and Gyomei might spare Nezuko.

@@renatus20058 I can’t see you really bringing up any valid reasons for them to spare nezuko if it was them at the beginning instead of giyuu. Because the literal only reason they don’t kill nezuko is because their master forbid it and they heavily respect him. If nezuko never went to the trial and they found her in the snow with tanjiro , all of them would’ve killed her. No damns given abt tanjiro’s situation. To them a demon is a demon and it’s gotta get slayed. They know it happens to a lot of people’s loved ones but they gotta stick to the job and get the task done.

I mean, if you think about it.
It's a very different situation when they see a demon protecting a human than when they first saw Nezuko back at the HQ (or whatever-)
They didn't see Nezuko protect a human like Giyu did. That is probably a big reason why some of them wanted them to die. If they saw how Nezuko reacted back at the mountains, there might be different reactions between the pillars
I also disagree with a lot of these, I feel like most of them would kill Nezuko. Murata probably wouldn't (only adding him cause he was in this) he seems more understanding. Though the rest would probably kill her, though a lot would feel sad for his situation. Though the best chance to letting Nezuko live is probably Urokodaki and maybe Mitsuri.

guys, rengoku at the end acknowledged that nezuko is a part of the demon slayer corps because he saw nezuko protecting people at the train, so i believe rengoku wouldn't kill nezuko at the beginning if he saw nezuko protecting tanjiro. shinobu kocho probably wouldn't kill nezuko too if she saw nezuko protecting tanjiro, basically almost all of the hashiras wouldn't kill nezuko if they see nezuko protecting a human ( in this case, being tanjiro ). proof? well, giyuu spared nezuko's life, do you think giyuu was a loving, full-emotion hashira? not even close bro, but he even swore to commit seppuku along with urokodaki for nezuko's sake, so i believe all the hashiras would protect nezuko and won't kill her.

Okay clearly this guy didn’t pay attention to detail in the manga about Murata. Murata may be a normal level demon slayer but he is not a fleeing coward. He stuck around on Mt. Natagumo and held the other controlled demon slayers off and bought time for tanjiro and inosuke to find the mother spider demon, and he remained on the mountain for quite some time after to be captured by the sister when he had the chance to flee. He also made it up to the end of the hashira trials which 90% of demon slayers couldn’t accomplish. During the infon😢castle arc he fought on the front lines with yushiro and was able to defeat a bunch of regular demons off screen. He was going to charge muzan until giyu gave him a different order…. Hes not a coward….. im actually willing to bet you he could defeat a newly transformed nezuko, considering when giyu could contain her with ease at the time she was much weaker than when she faced daki. So murata would most definitely not flee. He may be scared as hell but it doesnt stop him, hes the example of mind over matter and he pushes despite his awareness of the situation. Murata has my respect and he should also have yours!!!!!
