I think it's because of when Muzan murdered their family. When she turned into a demon, she most likely had Muzan's cells. It explains why she's so powerful
she had a lot of blood from muzan, and it could be because shes the descendant of the strongest swordsman in the verse
The Kamados aren't descendants of Yoriichi... Their ancestor was just friends with him. The reason Nezuko was so overpowered and immune to the sun was because the Kamados practiced Sun Breathing which is why DKT was also immune to the sun.
