I sometimes put 'Drew' on in the morning as background TV. You really never know what she will say next or how animated she will become, making me a little wary of the product at first glance. It appeared to work well enough and it was pretty comprehensive as a test and rundown. 👍
The unfortunate part is that is has a name attached to it (Drew's), otherwise it seems like an alright product! Also... if you got it from Amazon with the box in that shape, it's possible somebody bought and returned it (even if unused) that way... with an ex who used to work at a warehouse she told me Amazon has no problem re-shipping out boxes.

It's amazing how, the order of flipping (or removing) food on a griddle/grill in YT videos is (rarely) the same order they were put on the heat. Then, there is always a remark that something is overdone when they started to remove from the middle items first instead of the ones that have been on the longest. Unless a griddle has definite hot and cold zones, there's no real reason to flip (or remove) food out of order.
To know for sure you should get a IR temperature gun that goes way beyond 500F where you can tell hot and cold zones with precision. Since this unit has a single element, it likely is fairly uniform across the surface.

I bet my burger I just ate was better. I grind 4 parts of NY strip steak with 1 part of beef short rib. This batch I threw in a part of fatty chuck just because it was on sale.
If you start the bacon with the griddle cold, you shouldn't need to oil it.
I do bacon on my oven grill, and they take 9 minutes... So this doesn't seem as good as my 6-year-old oven! But I know American's love "gadgets"! :)
