Yay! We have matching weeks! I’m so in love with the cover and it’s so special that you got to pick it in person. I’m excited for you and your TN as well!

It’s great to see how you’re setting your planners up. I’ve picked up a lot from watching the TN videos that TN owners are posting. I’ve got a monthly planner that I made from a grid notebook, a daily planner for a health issue, and a travel journal, which has notes about where I’ve been at the front, then at the back a couple of pages for campsites I really like, plus a list of items I need to stock my van up with again in the spring ready to start travelling again. I’m thinking of putting another grid insert in just to have for notes and perhaps some thoughts. I absolutely love how versatile they are.

Oh I love your travel journal ideas! I think I could benefit from something similar. Thanks for sharing! ❤ And I agree, the versatility of TNs are what I find so appealing.

@ Thanks 🙏 I’m not filling the travel one with anything I’ve collected like tickets, stickers etc. although I do draw a bit of leaf design on one side so it just makes it look a bit different to just writing. I like the inserts to stay slim. I’m looking forward to putting together the camp sites I like because it’s so easy to forget which were the best. So there’ll be the name, address/location, and phone number for booking. I’ll put a number on each of the travel notes at the front so I can use the number of nice sites when I put the details in the back of the book, match them up.

@@OldWhistler7743 I love the functional approach! I always feel our notebooks should work for us and be unique to each of our needs. 🙂

@ Indeed. I actually started with mine as a journal for getting back into the Tarot/Oracle cards, just as a hobby for myself. I used the three inserts that came with the TN, but they are now stand alone notebooks because I’ve gradually found what I really want to use my TN for and it’s working fabulously,

Enjoyed your channel. 2025 Intentional planning is something I’m looking forward. Life has been extremely hard n need to focus differently. I only have 2025 Common Planner and Roma Cavallini leather journal. It’s been my go to for years. I can create anything in it to document my life. ❤😊

So easy to get overwhelmed with so many journals but best of luck making it work. I find for me, as long as only a few of them (personal and work) are time based, then I can hang on. Some can just be ones where you write the date for each entry, that is less pressure for me anyways. I am going to try to do Personal (hobonichi cousin), work (stalogy 6-month), gardening (Peter Pauper Press Voyager), private writings (notebook therapy hinoki). I bought an archer&olive a5 vegan cover and will find a use for that. I also use a Paper Republic A6 as a jotter notebook, I carry it with me just so I can write things down, make grocery/errand lists, etc. I will have an art journal, mostly tombows and watercolors, but I haven’t figured that out yet, I think A5 makes sense for that though.

Thank you for sharing! 🙂 Sounds like a very well thought out and functional system for yourself! I completely agree about finding too many dated notebooks overwhelming. I technically only have two dated books for 2025 so hopefully it's manageable for me 🤞

Now I'm thinking about a way to use my collection of Field Notes Notebooks for Commonplacing. It would be easy to set them up into categories and shelve them accordingly. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Ohh I love that idea! It would be a nice, consistent format that is easy to maintain over time.
