I love these guys and I really think they need to incorporate Sarah's vocals in more songs...some of their best stuff is when the vocals are kinda 50/50...maybe it's just me.
It's heartbreaking to see the band getting some age about them. especially Stuart. I always envision him and his music as embodying eternal youth.... Sometimes in the face of beauty its difficult to contemplate the fact that everything's gotta end at some point. But B&S will never die.
I saw them on tour a couple months after this was (presumably) recorded and Stuart said he had been sick which gave him issues with his throat. He sounded similar to how he does here, so I think that may be the explanation. I thought they sounded wonderful regardless!
I just saw them this month. It was their second gig on the tour and he sounded like he did in 2000 (much better than in this video). I was actually quite relieved!!!

Some bands just have a supernal glow about them.
