Hello! Are sandwiches included as snacks? I know for Americans sandwiches are already considered as meals, but for us in Asia, these are snacks. My family's going to WDW in a couple of months and I don't want to pay so much for the food there.
Hi! There are so many different places to get food around Disney World that each have their own "definition" of snacks versus meals, so it's hard to say. Depending on the location you might find a sandwich that is a snack somewhere, but I honestly couldn't tell you where to go for this. The menus are all labeled really well and you can always ask the cast members. :)
I've not found it necessary when staying Club Level before, however, I wish we would have done it when we stayed at the Boardwalk since the food options at the resort itself are pretty much non-existent. I'm thinking of using them for our next trip, to have snacks in the room when we'll be spending more time at the hotel before the race. I'm thinking of checking the prices, too, to see if they have sunscreen and if it might be worth it to order it there and then just pack carryon bags.
We've ordered from Garden Grocer numerous times on our stays at Disney. We order bottled water, breakfast foods, plenty of snacks and any other non-food essentials we didn't want to pack. Hand wipes, toiletries and stuff like that. Everything you order will typically be in your room when you arrive. If not it will be at the front desk and bell services will bring it to your room when you want it. We LOVE Garden Grocer!
You can bring your own stroller, however, with many people arriving by plane they would rather rent than deal with the hassle (and cost) of checking it, or with gate checking. Something I forgot to mention in the video is that if you bring your own stroller or rent from outside Disney World you will be bringing your stroller with you when transporting to and from parks. On the monorails your child can remain in the stroller. However, on the busses and boats you will be asked to fold your stroller and bring it on the bus with you. The exception is with Disney's Magical Express transportation from the airport to your resort... then you will have to fold your stroller and store it underneath the bus. So the benefit of renting from Disney, is that you don't have to worry about transporting between parks or the airport and the resort, but it is more expensive. Renting from outside Disney World is cheaper and often times they will deliver and pick up from your hotel, so you don't have to worry about transportation to your hotel or on the plane, but you still have to deal with it within Disney World. Bringing your own from means you don't have rental costs, but would be the biggest hassle transporting it on planes/busses and may result in a baggage fee. I hope this helps! :)
nycvideosnyc No problem. :) If your stroller is smaller you might even be able to leave it open on the larger ferry boats if you happen to use them. Don't forget to mark it with something to grab your attention when you park it amongst the other strollers. They all tend to look the same in the Florida sun for some reason. Lol
I remember when we were kids, we would keep snacks for the day in our fanny packs to munch on while waiting in line.
