I love how he was at the beginning like "nope I take no responsibility, I don't deal with little ones" then at the end he's like "welp... I guess I can't escape them like I was hoping to."
That part looked like it was taken a few weeks later. The kitten was a bit bigger. Mother cats are very protective of newborns.

To be fair though it's not only Dad's who run off from unpaid support. My ex-wife left our son and I from the states to be with another guy w/kids she'd met online who lives in Canada. Didn't last, but she still owes about 80k.

Too much cuteness! This video made me cry. I think that cat moms are some of, if not the best, moms of the animal kingdom. They are so patient and loving and they know how to give their kittens the confidence that it takes to become an adult cat. They prepare them to become capable and independent adults. I think that humans could learn a lot from them in raising their own children.

Male cats are generally pretty gentle to their own kittens. And when living in captivity i.e. not feral, they're generally pretty gentle to kittens who were not sired by them too.
facts my male cat has been taking care of kittens not of his own for a while till they were grown they were bottled fed as we couldn’t find their mom
My cat was mad when kittens happened at our house. He HATED them. Growls hisses and smacks. But he ever hurt any of them. Just grumbled like an upset old man. (He was only 2 then though)
I had a cat who allowed kittens who weren't even sired by him to try and nurse on him! It was very cute wish I had a video or something

Cats can have multiple fathers. What I mean is, mama could be impregnated by several males at the same time... so there could be half sibs in the mix in a lot of litters

That was so painfully adorable 😍! It makes me want more cats but I gotta practice self restraint.1, my cat is happy being the only cat in the house and had hissed at other cats near my house. 2, my mom's former stray dog seems to be a bad influence on my younger dog and we've caught them chasing cats before. Finally, I feel I just don't live in the best of places for pets.

We rescued a stray pregnant cat last year, and our cat Mr. Biscuit immediately stepped up to fatherhood time he met the newborns. He kept cleaning the mother and the babies, while laying in the box with them even though they weren't his. He's been a father figure to many stray babies we've rescued and has such paternal instincts.
It's okay Tommy, you'll get used to them! 💙
