JK’s been on my radar for a while now, I think you just sealed the deal for me in how awesome these boots are and how long they will last being put through hell day after day, will be placing an order soon 👍
You certainly wont regret it! Just make sure you follow their sizing instructions! It's simple, straight forward and....imagine this, IT WORKS! My Superduty shorts fit like a perfectly made glove for my feet.!!
As a JK customer, this was the most informative and interesting dissection and analysis I’ve ever seen. I have other PNW boots. I can honestly say my Super Duty’s are the most comfortable. 2years of harsh use with care and they are still going strong! Thanks guys.
So do I, jk is great I placed a order. If their boots are as good as there customer service it’s definitely a win they respond so quick to every question text or email.
Thank You for sharing this video with us JK Boots. I will be sending in my boots soon for a resole along with getting the heel clicked to see if I can get a better heel wear overall. I got a tiny bit of heel base leather showing on the back outside of each heel and a good 1/4-3/8 inch of tread left on the inside.
Excellent video. Love my Bison Superdutys - both the shadow bison safety toes with the fire-n-ice soles and the original bisons with the honey soles. GREAT BOOTS, love them!
@@jkbootsusa Love the Shadow Bison boots with the safety toes. I've got a bunch of messed up toes from ill-healed fractures...and this is the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE that I've had safety toe boots that fit properly and are comfortable. Thank y'all for making truly custom boots!
I'm on my second set of Superduty safetys my first pair is a little too big, wore them for 2 years may send them in for a rebuild or resole. The pair I'm wearing now are brown with the honey vibram sole. I had my doubts about the HV sole, man the grip they have over the regular vibram V100 is quite apparent. The HV wears quicker than the black v100, that's a trade off, its the sure footed grip makes a guy feel a lot safer, I'm a bit on the fence with the HV. Been wearing handmade work boots since 2000, hands down the JK Superduty is the most comfortable boots I've owned. The Vibergs I wore, tough boots, tough on the body they are not the slipper feel like JKs. Anybody that says the mass produce boots are better their teeth are brown from the BS spewing from their mouth. The guys I work with wear mass produced boots they may get 3 to 4 months out of them at 300 dollars Canadian that's 1200 dollars a year give or take.
I love my Superduty so much, they are the best boots I have worn so far, that's why shortly after I bought a second pair of Superduty without hesitation.
I used to love jk boots. My pair I got for Christmas last yr only lasted 6 months logging fr. Every day normal use. I was very disappointed. But I do love them for other types of work.
Just snagged a Superduty for my brother since his Danners are completely falling apart after only a year of use. I can't wait til he opens it up on Christmas :D
No question these are solid boots. I love my JKs, but there are a few other PNW brands that also build boots to this standard. Tim is really comparing JK boots to off the shelf mass produced boots when he talks about how great JK boots are.
A friend of mine who works for LAFD mentioned how he had to return a pair of boots. He kept saying, "Quality went down after their popularity went up." Is that true?
*Now that you're pointing it out. I see what you mean. It would be safer to have the screw driver pointed away from your torso. Don't want an accident to happen, even when people know what they're doing. Safety is important!*
These boots wore out quicker than any other cheap or expensive boots I've ever worn. 700 dollars wasted.buyer beware. This may be vibrams problem though I wore completely through the red dot vibrams in six months. I feel screed. I just can't afford another pair this soon. I am currently walking on the leather midsole every day
Sorry to hear this! Definietly not normal and sounds like a vibram sole defect which can happen! Please email us at general@jkboots.com with your name and order number so we can get you taken care of!
Yeah you wanna use the brakes of your car to slow it down instead of dragging your feet outside of the open door. The red x vibram soles are used by every pnw boot company, this most likely isn't a JK problem
@@andrewacton5885 that is exactly what I said. Although... I have worn all the way through the tongue and the leather insole and plastic pieces surrounding the steel toe have come out. I walk on grass and dirt exclusively with these boots. I also have bad knees, ankle and back so they get comparatively light work

Love my bison Superdutys. I have done countless hours of HVAC work, hiking, fishing, camping in them and they are still going.

Really interested in your boots, but sadly I can’t justify buying them as they wouldn’t hold up in tunnel construction
JK boots got more security points than Boeing airplanes.
Best boots! 🫱🏼🫲🏾

Too bad you guys don't make boots for law enforcement.
Thanks for the suggestion, we are always developing new models and will keep this in mine 🙌
