I have ‘em all, 1911s, Hi-Power, two Sigs and three HKs, among others. Love my G30 SF Gen 4 the best. Carried it today to an upscale sushi restaurant in the front pocket of my cargo pants.
I distinctly recall that my rationale for buying a G-30 in around 2000 or so was that if I can only have 10+1, (Klinton era AWB) I should at least have it in .45 acp. Mind you, I'm a fan of the G-30. It's 2024 and I own 2 G-30's and I live in a non restricted capacity state as I say this. Were the ban to comeback nationally tomorrow and we went back to 10+1 maximum allowance or even less, I still wouldn't carry the G-30 over comparable sized/philosophy created pistols in 9mm. There are so many loadings in 9mm. JHP that work and perform effectively in barrels ranging in size from 3", 3.1", 3.4", up to 4" and beyond versus the .45.acp that just do not. Furthermore, even the "short barrel" offerings for .45acp when they actually open and penetrate, still under perform next to 9mm. offerings in similar sized and smaller pistols by a wide margin. That's not some sort of state secret either. It's not some sort of divine mystery. It's not something you have to have a grant administered to you so you can hire a team of special investigators to discover the truth of as this is old news already. I'm a .45 acp fan and I'm a Glock 30 fan as well. (Not to mention the G-21.) That said, I wouldn't bother carrying one today in a restricted state over the current crop of 9mm. pistol and ammunition choices in 2024.
Mine has ran flawlessly love my 30 gen 5

It’s quite nice for people who live in capacity restricted areas. Not much smaller than a g19 and you get the full 10+1 of 45

Strong work Jay
I love my 30s . Awesome tool
My G30gen5 is a sweet shooter
Glock 30 gen 5 45acp much better than a 1911 7 or 8 shots lighter and faster and 1/2 the price 💯👍
I want a 29 !
Nice holster but needs a thumb break to make it perfect.
Faye Valentine special.
We need a Glock 30x and Glock 29x full frame with short slide
I guess you could make your own by using either Glock 20 or 21 magazines with an xGrip sleeve.
No
The issue with leather own holster is . Swet can destroy the leather
Will my glock 21 mags work with it
Yes, just need an X-grip for aesthetics.
9mm is over hyped IMO.
