TeraBox - holding company & servers are in Japan. But backend staff, developers, are all based in mainland China affiliated with Baidu. Not trustworthy when a service keeps trying to hide its Chinese roots. The Japanese company is just a holding shell company.
I installed it and it was downloading files I thought O was reading or watching onto my phone. Also, it created a folder with copies from my phone which included bank statements and copies of private documents like passports which I took years a go wirhout my consent. This app should be banned.
@@brochange123 They would create a folder from the device you have enabled them to access to storage and just lift everything to their servers. Then they will come back encouraging you to share personal pictures and videos by giving out "tokens". This is like some pyramid scheme.

Actually, terabox is a cloud storage service in China (formerly called DuBox) but then moved to Japan and changed its name to Terabox
