Great list! Beartown is SO good. It definitely hits a LOT of emotions, sad being one of them. It's a heavy read, but so so good. You have lots of books on your TBR that are also on mine! Enjoy your Nov reading.

The Thirteenth Tale is a really interesting book! I want to read Bear Town at some point. I've only read 2 of his books--one I liked, one I thought was just okay--but I think Bear Town is one I will probably enjoy more than the others.
Looks like a great TBR! Maybe we could buddy read The Thirteenth Tale so I actually read it this fall, otherwise I might not pick it up, haha. No pressure but let me know if you want to do that! The Book Thief was so good, definitely an emotional one. I just finished Beartown and loved it just as much the second time around!! Hoping you’ll love it too. I also recently read Rewitched and it definitely has cozy vibes (bookstores, cats, romance, etc), but it does have some higher stakes and a bit of a time crunch with the main character trying to keep her magic, it almost reminded me of Harry Potter in some ways! And I’m also planning to read Rhythm of War in November…. 😳🫣😆

I read Anxious People and didn't love it, but I've heard Beartown is different, so I'm anxious to find out!
