That time, Player's were selected from all four regions of the country,they were simply the best,speed, footwork and played more better,unlike today!! 🇵🇬💯🙏👍
late bal numapo was the rugby league king in the 1980s right from ssy village league to highlands zone and made it to kumul. around that time nrl premier star was curtrburry bull dogs tried his to NRL as he was deemed to be the world best center due to knee injury in nrl hrs return home and hang his boots..
They were legends then but it seems like the players were plugged directly out from respective village leagues to represent PNG. Even the Lions as well. No quality and structure in the 80s.
