Great piece of footage. It’s a pity that the main focal point was the then ‘Hilton’ hotel now ‘The Hotel’ (such a silly name lol). Would have loved to have a look at the shops on the Toison d’Or side. 😭 Anyways, a big thank you for sharing this gem 💎!!

The vehicles and their 5-digit numberplates (as far as I could tell) rather situate this movie in the 1970s. Belgium switched to 6-digit plates in 1973, most vehicles in the 1980s would carry one.
Also fashion became way more colourful in the 1980s.
