A satisfied game of Association Football. For those of you watching in bw.. teams with colours like this in a match was difficult watching on TV. Back then telly watching for 90% of us was black & white & tinges of grey. Many thanks G8Footy for rare early 70s football, more please.
Bobby Charlton & Weller. The two best performers off this match... Can't help noticing, the large gaps in midfield, you just don't get in the modern game.
Agreed, It was almost like he was in a pretty useless position, it worked well him feeding Charlton then going deep but otherwise he seemed a bit of a spare part out there, not one for the compilation lol
Yes but even at this stage he was still regarded as among the absolute global elite. It is surprising to see no effort at all to get him into the game. He literally seems to be surplus to requirements.
To Tiger Arm: This could have been a subterfuge system of strategy, as the opposition would focus more upon him, leaving Leicester confounded by overlooking other great players left open to do the damage.
37.33 lol, 3 bookable tackles in a row, Burns in with two feet, next one was lucky not to connect and then Burns comes tanking in again and nearly chops the f*cker in half lol and the ref gives a corner pahaha

Bobby Charlton was a very graceful athlete.

boby Charlton à 34 ans , impressionnant !
Still bullets in Bobby's barrel: mate, that's too much information.
Muppet.
Anybody else surprised to see that United rarely if ever passed the ball to George Best? He's almost never on the ball.
