      @Mr Blue wow that's actually a pretty great idea I guess you could make money buying gold low and then selling it high but just holding gold is a terrible investment.
      Gold hasn't even match the inflation at all same with silver I mean it's great to have some of both of these because you don't know if the price might go up insane overtime but I feel like most people who owned these precious metals should own some land have their house paid off and stuff like that instead of wasting all their money and stupid Investments when they're still paying a mortgage and interest rates on things that they should have had completely paid off.
      I like to invest in things that actively service me for the life of that investment I would rather have $5,000 in solar panels and solar batteries and not have to pay electricity for the rest of my life compared to spending $5,000 on gold that just sits there and doesn't really do anything other than maybe go up in price five percent every year which is nonsense to me unless you're extremely rich and you have nothing better to invest in and you've already bought everything you need which is basically nobody

    Moissanite is a real gemstone. It’s not as hard as diamonds but is still scratch resistant and reflects more colors than natural diamonds. They hit way harder and shine brighter because they are doubly reflective while diamonds are only singly reflective. This means light that passes through moissanite is reflected twice and gives more of a glistening rainbow effect. Basically they are better than diamonds, just not as hard. And 1/3 the price.

    Don’t listen to any jeweler tell you “buying jewelry is an investment” I worked in the jewelry industry for years and got out of it because I felt I was selling people a dream. Anything you buy from a jeweler IS MAKING MONEY OFF YOU. They wouldn’t be in business if they were breaking even on their product. Certain watches can go up in value over a few years but the price of those watches are completely unrealistic to the average customer. You could spend the same amount in stocks or a down payment on real estate and make 10-100x more than you would ever make buying those watches. There’s a reason the richest billionaires in the world don’t have some “blue dolphin” chains lol

    • @jamescelliers3195
      @jamescelliers3195 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends how much you pay for the jewellery. The point is the price of gold only ever goes up. So as long as you are not getting ripped off then its a reasonable place to store your wealth. I promise you the worlds richest billionaires own more gold jewellery than you could ever imagine, even if they dont have a blue dophin chain, they have a single diamond worth millions of dollars. The housing market has done well but it doesn't always, and houses are hugely overvalued at the moment as it is and with rising interest rates investing in property maybe isnt the smarted decision at the moment. The point with gold is the price of gold always rises particularly during economic downturns so while it might not be a great investment, its a great way to store wealth long term (its also untaxed beyond the initial sale).
      I personally like buying pre-owned gold jewellery just a little over spot price, i can always resell it for what i paid for it, and if i hold on to it for a bit then it will even increase in value. when i need to buy a house i will sell it all and get my money back (any maybe a bit extra) and I get to wear it while save up and wait for house prices to fall (which they will do soon, property is overvalued by about 50% currently so its a dumb investment when it will crash soon).

    • @jamescelliers3195
      @jamescelliers3195 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, you say billionaires dont buy luxury watches but then say the average person cant afford them, so whos buying them?
