It'd be nice if you cited where you found these glitches, I don't see Hotshotwire's name mentioned anywhere, and I know he put a lot of work into finding how to enter Bowerstone North early.
I didn't realize he was the person who discovered it (I am actually subscribed to his channel too) Usually, in cases where there is a definitive "first person" or if someone specifically tells me to make the video or tells me about the glitch, I tend to give them a shoutout, or show their comment/give them some sort of mention. But in this case I had already seen multiple different videos floating around of this glitch, and had multiple people telling me about it and wanting me to make a video, so it was one of those situations where I finally just made the video after some time. Definitely not my intention to steal anyone's thunder or anything, just trying to spread fable knowledge and give the viewers what they ask for This video in particular was the second one I made, having made the original video with TLC version of the game, someone had mentioned the anniversary method, and I decided to try it out myself I noticed there were some nuances between doing the glitch in anniversary and TLC so I decided to share those differences, as well as prove that it is still possible in the anniversary version

For future it'd probably be best to credit at least someone or the earliest uploaded video you could find, it seemed dishonest to not credit anyone, I'm sure you understand how it is from our perspective seeing the speedrunning community's work repackaged without any credit. Nothing against you, but more things to consider in the future. For Fable if you're ever in doubt I can point you to the original source of basically any video/glitch. And to confirm your other question yeah, I was the original finder of the Etemmode glitch; a member of the speedrunning community decided to name it that after me after I showed it, Hotshot Wire did a lot of work developing the method seen in your video. I just did this on the Series X, only took a couple of tries. Slowly walk up to the bowerstone exit, once the doors open, stop. Equip your trophy to start the timer. Start hammering start (3 lines), while gently pushing your stick forward about half way. If you don't get the trophy failure after about 5 seconds, you are good to go (depending on your walk speed). When pushing the guard, just shove him in the corner by the lamp and you can sneak right in after it teleports you out. Thanks for the video!
Works for xbox one x/s 2025 So you need to tilt forward as if it was a d-pad DO NOT HOLD the joystick forward! Do that and press the back button simultaneously. He even said he is tapping forward in his video to..... Tap forward and the inventory button if that makes sense.
This works on xbox. You must spam walk forward start and b. It took me like 2 min to do. To move the guard male sure you still have the trophy out or it wont work
You don't need to press "B" just button mash start as you walk forward. Also everyone already knows about the trophy cause that's what he did in the video...
i know a easier way where the time doesn’t matter. First, make a save inside Bowerstone South then go outside. Do this same glitch with the trophy but do it on the bowerstone south entrance door, once you know you passed the loadzone and its working load the save you just made inside bowerstone. You will then be in the glitched state and should be able to move the guard freely without a trophy timer. After you move the guard far away show off your trophy then you can just wait for the timer to deplete and it warps you back to the bowerstone south entrance, then just go inside north. I haven’t tried it yet but i’ll leave an edit if it works.
I wonder what happens if you reach max renoun and try to go to bowerstone north before arena because that guard dude always would say something about being well known enough
I lose the trophy as soon as I get near the load zone, the menu does nothing I lost the trophy even with the menu open as soon as the load would trigger, xbox series s 2024.
from what I've heard it's harder on xbox, but it's all about timing the menu pauses with your movement just right If it's not working with whatever menu you are using, try the other menu (like there's the "pause" menu and the "hero" menu or whatever) Like on PC the pause menu is the esc key and the hero menu is the F key, I assume xbox uses start and select for those

As far as I know it doesn't mess anything up I think there is one instance of the game acting funny if you use this glitch to get into twinblades camp early, and then guild teleport to his camp instead of sneaking past the bandits etc. There's like one side quest that happens in that region (the one where you rescue the traders brother from that path to twinblades camp) and I think it like crashes the game or something I can't quite remember but that was the only thing I ever noticed from using this glitch
@PTMG I got it to work once with the hero menu but I pushed the fucker directly in the middle of the top of the stairs before the time ran out 😅 then after that each method would just make my screen black if I spammed so I'm just assuming the glitch, glitches lol
hmm, it could just be that you need to go a little bit past where the sign disappears You will know if it's working too, because it will literally let you keep walking into the doorway and it will never teleport you to lookout point
@@PTMG Yea if I go deeper I get sent to lookout point everytime so far.. I wonder if it's due to my pause screen taking forever. Like once I hit pause there's a 3 second delay where it's just a black screen so I can't spam it
Tried the old methods, they don't work for bringing weapons in. Half the properties you can buy by leading the villagers outside and killing them, but I think the houses with children can't be bought, from memory. Ye old splash damage from fireball level 4 did it without gaining a bounty or negative karma.

I honestly feel the same exact way lol I think it;s just timing Definitely works best if you start in the morning, as opposed to closer to the evening A lot of it is just lucking out and having 1 or 2 of those box carrying dudes near the front Also try not to forget the shop keepers will always be there, and so will the bar/bar patrons usually if you show it to at least one of the shop keepers, then run for the bar and show everyone there, you should have enough to get it done
Ah, I see how this glitch works. You are trying to nudge yourself past the threshold to load the next area. Once you are past that threshold (I.E. Past the doors) you are then glitched. That would have been nice to have explained in the video.

How do you know when it works? What are you looking for to tell you, "ok I tricked the game time to go the guard" ? I keep walking out the gate....
You'll know it works because you will have walked into the gate without it taking you back out to lookout point

Only mods allow you to use magic and weapons in Bowerstone. It's not possible on console
