PJ won my opinion. I know he was not very active in the overtime round but the match as a whole, he won. Kody just took A LOT of blind shots in the OT round just to look busy and I think that's what they counted most for some reason.
Awesome match! Very close, what a war of attrition. Kody rightfully won this imo, his wrestling in the OT round was insane…he absolutely earned that W 💯
Disagree with the decision entirely Both awesome competitors. Felt the PJ definitely deserved his takedown points before OT. Not familiar with these rules but I would like to see that guillotine threat be the deciding factor if no points are awarded before OT. And anyone who's grappled someone who defends the hooks well like kody did knows your legs gas from that hooking. You could see PJs legs were done once they hit OT. I will say Kody showed a lot of heart and worked the crowd so major props for that. Also, I love to see wrestling and jujitsu unite like this
Well, it looks like after they went to overtime, Kody was more aggressive, since they basically wrestle the whole time then Kody had the win... I guess
Schoolyard rules say kody had winning momentum towards the end, and therefore "would" have won if it hadn't been broken up... I guess PJ should have sat? He probably thought the same thing about having the only sub threat?
And that’s why EBI rules in overtime are my favorite! Solid 12:30 minutes of wrestling but that showed me nothing of Kody Steele’s jiu jitsu nothing to take away from him and his wins but that didn’t really show me anything PJ went for subs, definitely think PJ should’ve won but that’s ADCC for you.
Clearly PJ won! He was able to back control when K. whas in turtle just after put K. down (even outside the math) so, at least he deserves an advantage...
Pretty stupid how takedowns don't count in ADCC unless you pin them on their back or have both hooks in. If thats how it worked in actual wrestling, there wouldn't be any takedowns
Idk why cody always fake shots and does nothing. Barch reacts to it and ducks a little. Cody just clubs the back of barches neck but doesnt follow through with a snapdown or front head. Ugh

Wrestling in this match is really impressive

This match was brutal, holy shit
The other guy won in my opinion
Barch did good in regulation. But Kody definitely took over in the overtime.
I agree, how in Hell did Kody win?
The other guy. Lol.
no Kody won
Awesome match
PJ won
Wrestlings wins everywhere.
PJ! Repping Delaware!
Love wrestling heavy matches

If PJ had the only sub attempts how's that a win for Steele? I like kody, but....

@@saulowarrior they don't have advantages at ADCC but I agree that PJ should've won
pj win
Where did this take place?
East coast trials in New Jersey I believe
This is why you need EBI rules for overtime
Sawing logs…
This is why there’s a circle on a wrestling mat
You are right👊

Cody looks like a younger version of gsp
Adcc rules are strange
PJ definitely won though huh
How did kody Steele win? New to this but it looked very even
More active in overtime I guess
top
does the winner have to shower with vince mcmahon
decision literally made no sense. stupid rules
Whata FUCH?

Bad judging. Another reason to not watch pro jiu-jitsu 😕
wtf pj won
So this was wack
What a waste of 12 minutes.
lame
Kody Steele seemed pretty arrogant
The wrestling is such a stall tactic, get some guard. Barch threw real attempts.
That's some trash wrestling
no wonder no one watches this... boring high school wrestling lol
